Leonardo DiCaprio lends his voice to the cause, drumming home the dangers of global warming and urged people to go green while onstage during Live Earth New York at Giants Stadium on Saturday in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

“We can’t afford to fail,” said Leo. “This moment is a tipping point in history.”

The Revolutionary Road actor then proceeded to introduce the man of the hour (well, 22 hours), environmentalist and former vice president Al Gore. Leo described Gore as a “global messenger of hope when we most need it.” More Here! »

It’s been almost 10 years since Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet starred in Titanic together as pauper Jack Dawson and wealthy traveler Rose DeWitt.

Revolutionary Road, out near year, will mark the first on-screen reunion for the pair since Titanic. Set in 1950s Connecticut, the pair will play Mr. & Mrs. Frank and April Wheeler, a young married couple with two children struggling to achieve the American dream.

Earlier this week, Leo was busy filming additional scenes at an old train station in Thomaston, CT.

Mendes, is the husband of Kate Winslet, who also stars in this film. He was spotted speaking to his wife on-set not too long ago.

Here are the first pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio from the NYC set of his upcoming film Revolutionary Road.

Looking dapper in a gray suit, the A-list actor was spotted filming scenes on Wednesday smoking a cigarette while holding a brown briefcase and a matching fedora to boot.

Leo, 32, is teaming up with long-time friend Kate Winslet, who plays his on-screen wife. (She was spotted on set earlier today as well.) The pair are reuniting a full decade after they last appeared in Titanic together.

Writer/Producer/Narrator Leonardo DiCaprio stands sandwiched between co-director sisters Leila and Nadia Conners at the photocall for their documentary The 11th Hour at the Palais des Festivals during The Cannes Film Festival on Saturday.

“Global warming is a reality. It is happening,” DiCaprio told reporters. “In the last year, people are taking this issue more seriously than they ever have, and it’s a direct result of affecting people’s emotions in a cinematic format.”

The long-time environmental activist added, “We are the largest superpower in the world. We’re are also the largest polluters. It’s ultimately us as the largest democracy in the world to be the ones to set an example … if we don’t do it, how is the rest of the world supposed to follow?”

Leonardo Dicaprio rolls into France like he normally does — under a hat and covering his face.

The Oscar-nominated actor arrived at Nice Airport on Friday and is expected to walk the red carpet tomorrow in promotion of the premiere of his his eco-friendly flick The 11th Hour at The Cannes Film Festival 2007.

Leo, 32, not only narrated the documentary but co-wrote and co-produced it as well. It’s slated for nationwide release in October.

Leonardo DiCaprio attends the premiere of the eagerly awaited Gardener of Eden, which he produced, at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday at NYC’s BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.

Also on hand were actress Erica Christensen, director Kevin Connolly, and actor Lukas Haas (pictured after the jump).

Gardener of Eden tells the story of a young man on the wrong track that suddenly finds purpose and love when he captures a serial rapist.
