Leighton Meester throws a pretty dress on and heads to the New York City set of Gossip Girl with her younger brother Lex on Monday morning (August 24).
Costar Blake Lively was also seen shooting scenes at Gramercy Park.
Leighton is expected to present a moonman award at the 2009 MTV VMAs, which will air live on Sunday, September 13, 2009 @ 9PM ET/PT.

Leighton Meester and her boyfriend, Gossip Girl costar Sebastian Stan, hit up the Katy Perry at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Tuesday night (July 28).
The 23-year-old actress, who was also accompanied by younger brother Lex, arrived late to the concert because she had to work (she arrived just in time for the last three songs). Leighton only stayed backstage and didn’t sit in the VIP balcony area with Rihanna and Donald Trump.
Cobra Starship opened up for Katy and Leighton wanted to perform with them during “Good Girls Gone Bad” but work got in the way.
