Writer Josh Patner says, “Rest assured, fashion skeptic: The collection was truly, deeply horrible. While snobbery did play a role in the reviews, it was only a supporting role.” Ouch!

“He’s estranged from Lindsay… and getting paid to say things about her when he’s five months behind in child support is wrong,” mama Lohan fired back.
Although Lindsay’s debut line for Ungaro was heavily criticized, Dina has said, “She’s just a little girl and God gave her this gift. She’s just trying to create. She did great in Paris, don’t believe what you read. She’s genius at fashion.”
Lindsay will also be lending her creative “genius” to Dina’s shoe line.

Lindsay Lohan struts her stuff on the catwalk with Spanish designer Estrella Archs after the Emmanuel Ungaro fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 at Le Carrousel du Louvre on Sunday (October 4) in France.
Three weeks ago, it was announced that Lohan would be the fashion house’s new creative director.
When asked how she collaborated with Estrella, Lohan explained, “We both kind of mixed our (ideas) together, and that’s why it came out so well. I really appreciate everything that goes into, like, any article of clothing. I think it’s fantastic and I think it’s so expressive in so many ways.”
After the show, FWD reported, “Too many of the styling tricks did not come off. It’s all very well covering the odd nipple with sequined hearts, but placing the same thing on a half dozen heads was naff. And on three occasions straps fell off shoulders, or boobs suddenly swung out form tuxedo jackets, which was a little unlucky, bit did not look too professional.”
WWD added, “As for the clothes, they looked cheesy and dated…. Hot pink, orange and flashy, with an overworked heart motif relentless in its execution, the collection displayed none of the promised younger side Lohan was supposed to deliver.”

Lindsay Lohan celebrates the opening of the “90 years of Vogue covers” exhibition at Crillon Hotel on Thursday (October 1) in Paris, France.
The 23-year-old actress was recently named Creative Consultant to French design house Emanuel Ungaro. She wrote on her Twitter page, “I just saw my office at Emanuel Ungaro en Paris. It’s so pretty. I was shocked and so happy I cried. A dream come true.”
Lindsay also extended an invitation to Miley Cyrus: “Will you be in Paris this week? Would you like to come to the Emanuel Ungaro show for the new collection I’ve designed love? xo*”

True Blood pulled in a very healthy 5.2 million viewers this past Sunday (last week was its series high at 5.33 million).
The True Blood season finale airs @ 9PM ET/PT on Sunday, September 13 on HBO.
Lindsay Lohan for sure will be tuning in to watch how the summer’s sexiest series will end.

The 23-year-old actress is reportedly in talks to turn her controversial life into a reality TV show, Fox News reported last week. Lindsay has reportedly contacted Britney Spears‘ manager, Larry Rudolph, for advice regarding this new venture. A source said Rudolf is “helping Lohan with a potential reality show that will encapsulate her trials and tribulations as she gets back on her feet and actually becomes a working actress again.”
