Jesse McCartney Reads For The Record

Jesse McCartney reads the children’s book fave “Corduroy” to a few kids during ‘Read for the Record Day’ on NBC’s Today Show in New York City on Thursday morning.

The 21-year-old pop sensation helped Jumpstart’s Read for the Record Campaign raise awareness of the importance of early literacy. Other guest stars included Matt Lauer, Ann Curry, LL Cool J, Mary-Louise Parker, and Greg Kinnear.

LL Cool J: Russell Brand is Bland!

Check out the latest VMA promo with rapper LL Cool J and British funny man Russell Brand. Funny but definitely not as funny as the Britney ones.

Rihanna will perform her hit single “Disturbia” and rapper T.I. will perform a new single off his upcoming album Paper Trail. Pink is set to perform her new single, “Say What,” off her album Funhouse. Kid Rock, Lil Wayne and the Jonas Brothers also have been added to the list of performers at this year’s show. The VMAs will be hosted by Russell Brand and will air live on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9PM Live ET/Tape Delayed PT.
