Alexis Bledel comes out to support her former Gilmore Girls costar Lauren Graham at the premiere of her new movie, The Answer Man, at New York City’s Cinema 2 on Thursday (July 16).

Lauren, 42, told the ladies on The View, “I said yes to the movie instantly because it’s such a beautiful, funny and smart script. It’s sort of about fame. It’s about what happens when you lose yourself in your own hype. My character is someone who doesn’t immediately know who [Jeff Daniels' character] is and maybe life is better because of that.”

Dead Man’s Hand

"Cruise To Nowhere" synopsis :: When the body of a former school chancellor is fished out of the Hudson River, Detectives Goren (Vincent D’Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) find out that he was a high roller on a casino boat off the New York coast. They soon zero in on Joey (guest star Lou Taylor Pucci), a talented but arrogant young gambler who was owed $500,000 by the victim. But the police also cannot ignore the dead man’s resentful brother-in-law Phil, (guest star John Pankow) when they discover that he not only raised Joey, but taught him poker and intentionally placed him on the ship on the fateful night.

20-year-old actor Lou Taylor Pucci (The Chumscrubber, Thumbsucker) plays young gambler Joey Frost in an episode of Law & Order :: Criminal Intent that filmed in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn.  A dead man’s hand is played out when a high-rolling gambler is fished out of water in Law & Order :: Criminal Intent episode "Cruise To Nowhere", which airs Sunday, April 30 on NBC @ 9PM ET/PT on NBC.  More pictures in the gallery!
