Angel-faced actor Matt Damon is honored with the well-deserved 2,343th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday in Los Angeles. Not too long ago, he had his handprints and footprints cemented at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater alongside George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

“I can’t believe I’m standing on a star with my name on it. I’m going to show my kids that,” Matt beamed during the ceremony. “A few times in my life I’ve had these experiences that are just kind of too big to process and this looks like it’s going to be one of those times.”

“Ben and I lived in a really crappy apartment about five blocks away from here and we used to walk up and down here. It’ll probably sink in when I’ve walked down the street in about six months and see someone peeing on my star,” he laughed.

Matt was accompanied by his wife Luciana Barroso, his mother Nancy Carlsson-Paige (a professor of education at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA), Mayor of Hollywood Johnny Grant and Bourne director Paul Greengrass

Jennifer Garner shares a hearty laugh with actor pal Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso while vacationing together in Hawaii on Monday. Both families have been in living it up in Hawaii for the past 3 1/2 weeks. If only everybody could take that kind of time off to spend with their families!

Garner’s hubby Ben Affleck and their 19-month-old daughter Violet were also around for the fun. But it looks like only the older folk got to enjoy the a ride on the beach catamaran, including Damon’s 9-year-old daughter Alexia.

It was also just reported that BFFs Affleck and Damon are returning to screenwriting! (They received Oscars in 1998 for their Good Will Hunting screenplay.)

“Ben and Matt keep taking breaks to go surfing and hang out with their families,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “But for the most part, they’ve been writing together on this trip.”

“That’s their plan,” Damon’s rep confirmed to the Daily News. “Whether or not they are doing it right now, I don’t know.”

Girls Day Out!

Jennifer Garner and Matt Damon’s wife, Luciana Barroso take their daughters to the local beach in Hawaii on Tuesday for some early morning swimming.

Jen looks like she’s lost all of her baby weight, sporting short shorts and baring her belly! She brought along 18-month-old daughter Violet.

Luciana brought along both of her daughters — Alexia, 9 and Isabella, 1. Isabella’s ruffled hat and bikini are sooooooooo cute!

Matt Damon and his Argentine-born wife Luciana Barroso go for a stroll around NYC’s SoHo with friends and family, including daughter Isabella, who turns 1-year-old tomorrow.

Damon wore a cap by 87Eleven, a full service stunt performance company. Isabella wore Abigail Pedipeds shoes in pink ($29) and rode in a Bugaboo Cameleon stroller in sand ($900).

The Ocean’s Thirteen actor recently shared withPeople: “We travel a lot but try to bring her everywhere. She has 11 stamps on her passport. She has more stamps than I did when I was 30.”

Damon also talked about Isabella’s attempts at walking: “She stands up and then realizes she’s standing and down she goes. It’s fun.”

Bachelor boy George Clooney takes a boat ride around his the Lake Como villa in Italy on Wednesday with Ocean’s 13 co-star and pal Matt Damon, his Argentine-born wife Luciana and their daughters Alexia, 9 and Isabella, almost 1.
