Matt Damon and his adorable family cross the street together on the way to the set of The Adjustment Bureau in New York City on Monday (October 26).

Matt’s wife Luciana brought Isabella, 3, and Gia, 15 months, as well as her daughter Alexia, 11, to the set for a day of family fun.

Recently, Matt, 39, sat down with Parade magazine and talked about the example he wants to set for his girls.

“I try to keep my trips short because my kids are so young that my wife, Lucy, can’t come. We don’t like to be separated, but we both feel it’s so important to learn about these things.

“In the future, I know these trips are something we’ll do as a family…. I can’t think of any more important value to instill in our children than the desire to help others. I feel strongly about setting an example for them.”

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Damon arrive at the Ziegfeld Theater for the New York Premiere of The Informant on Tuesday (September 15).

The 38-year-old actor had to put on a few extra pounds and grow out a mustache for his role in the movie. “My wife liked it,” he told Access Hollywood of the mustache. “You know, I liked parading around the house with my belly hanging out. I would do like kind of the sexy walk, but I clearly shouldn’t have been doing that type of thing. We had fun with it. We laughed a lot.”

“I found that actually the first 30 pounds were fun and then I just kind of left it there,” Matt said of the weight he put on. “I wouldn’t do more than 30 though – that would start to hurt.”

Matt Damon attends the premiere of his new movie The Informant! with Burberry-clad wife Luciana at the Sala Grande during the Venice Film Festival on Monday (September 7) in Venice, Italy.

The 38-year-old actor, who suited up in a custom made 3-piece Ferragamo tuxedo and lace-up shoes, packed up an extra 30 pounds for his role as an agricultural company’s vice president-turned-FBI informant.

“It was very, very easy to gain the weight,” Matt told reporters at the festival. “It was very, very fun, probably the funnest time I had working because I didn’t have to go to the gym after work and I just ate everything I could see.”

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana attend the photo call for his new movie, The Informant!, at the Palazzo del Casino during the 66th Venice Film Festival on Monday (September 7) in Venice, Italy.

In the movie, the 38-year-old actor plays agribusiness firm executive Mark Whitacre, who labels himself Agent 0014, “because I’m twice as smart as James Bond.”

Variety has a review of Damon’s performance in the movie: “Damon is in very sharp form in his fifth film with Soderbergh. The thesp makes Mark brazen in his conviction that he’s always right and unremorseful about his fabrications, but never in a superior, hubristic manner; as is slowly revealed, he’s always been able to rationalize any alteration of reality that served his purposes, and even when faced with his own deviousness, he never doubts that, “I’m the good guy in all this.”

Matt Damon arrives at Los Angeles International airport with wife Luciana Damon and their daughters on Sunday (July 26).

Isabella, 3, and Gia, almost one, were pushed in the stroller by their mom. Luciana’s other daughter, Alexia, held hands with Matt.

Matt, 38, and Luciana were seen earlier in the week dining at Da Silvano in New York City.

The 38-year-old actor has been rumored to fill the role of cyclist Lance Armstrong in a new film biopic. Though the film has been talked about for years, it could finally shoot as early as next year, according to producer Frank Marshall.

Gary Ross, who wrote and directed multiple-Oscar nominee Seabiscuit, has been hired to pen the Armstrong script, THR reported earlier this month.

Matt Damon step out in hand-made Ferragamo Tramezza shoes while supporting the San Francisco launch of the ONEXONE children’s charity on Thursday held at The Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, Calf.

The 38-year-old actor vows he’ll teach his kids about the less fortunate. Matt told People: “It’s a hard thing to explain to a kid. And it is also unbelievable the way other kids are forced to live… The way you have to parent them is to show them the world… You can read about devastation every morning – it’s on the front page of the newspaper – but when you actually go there and see it, you realize this isn’t something you can turn the page on.”
