The 51-year-old singer spoke during the Michael Jackson tribute at the beginning of the show. The legendary entertainer spoke about her love of Michael and the things that were parallel in their lives. She said Michael was “so unique, so original, so rare. He was a king.”

Lourdes Leon, the 12-year-old daughter of Madonna, chews on her gum while taking a walk with her dad Carlos Leon and his blonde girlfriend in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Monday (September 7).
The trio did a bit of shopping at the American Apparel store, where Lourdes picked up a few items.

Madonna visits the ancient Rose city of Petra in Jordan on Thursday (September 3).
The 51-year-old singer took a 15 minute trip and was accompanied by Jordanian security and an armed bodyguard. She recently performed two concerts in Israel as part of her Sticky and Sweet world tour.
The Queen of Pop was flown by helicopter into the ancient Roman-era city carved out in red stone in a trip arranged by Queen Rania, the wife of Jordan’s King Abdullah II.

Jesus Luz wraps his arm around Madonna and two of her kids — David and Mercy – aboard a boat in Portofino, Italy on Monday (August 17). Her daughter Lourdes, 12, was also present.
Yesterday, the 51-year-old Material Mom celebrated her 51st birthday at the Splendido Hotel as she shared breakfast and alone time with Jesus, 23.
At her concert in Warsaw, Madonna’s fans sang her a traditional Polish birthday song, titled “May You Live A Hundred Years.”
“Every time I do a show, and every time I look into your eyes and every time I see your smiles, you changed my life,” she said after her fans sang. “It’s amazing that I’ve been able to do what I do for so many years, thank God, I love my job, I love being able to be here with you tonight. This is the best birthday present ever, so thank you.”

The stage for Madonna’s Stick & Sweet concert tour at the Stade Velodrome stadium Marseille, France collapsed today (July 16). At least one person is dead and six are injured after the stage fell apart on top of several workers. The six injured were taken to local hospitals.
The 50-year-old Queen of Pop was supposed to perform on Sunday (July 19) but BBC is reporting the concert has been canceled.
“I am devastated to have just received this tragic news,” Madonna said in a statement through her spokesperson Liz Rosenberg. “My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”
Madonna cozies up to her boy toy, Jesus Luz, at her after-show party hosted by Dolce&Gabbana at Gold on Tuesday night (July 14) in Milan, Italy.
Italian designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana hosted the party for Madonna, 50, and Jesus, 23, at Gold, their multi-storied bar/restaurant/bistro. (The Beckhams dined there earlier this year.)
