• Tom and Katie will celebrate their nuptials with a post-wedding party in Los Angeles this weekend for friends who were not able to attend the wedding in Italy. Oprah’s rep has confirmed that she is not invited to this wedding celebration either!!!! Ooooooh.
• Caridee English was named America’s Next Top Model last night, edging out her last rival, Melrose Bickerstaff. Personally, I was rooting for Melrose. Maybe because of the Wikipedia foiler. And maybe because she has a much better walk and won most of the challenges. Poor girl.
• George Clooney says he would love to act in a Bollywood film, a television channel reported Thursday. “I’d love to. There are some filmmakers whose films when you see you say: That could be an interesting story to tell,” Geroge said in an interview to the private CNN-IBN channel.
• Madonna has signed a deal with H&M to produce a second line of clothing with the retail company. The line will go on sale in March.

• Madonna told French magazine Paris Match that she plans to adopt a girl from Malawi and children Lourdes and Rocco will help her choose their newest family member. Meanwhile, a judge is set to rule next week on whether to allow the pop star’s controversial adoption of Malawi boy David Banda.
• Whitney Houston’s New Jersey mansion is slated to be sold January 4th at a sheriff’s sale because she is more than $1 million behind on the mortgage and taxes have not been paid this year, according to reports published Wednesday.
• Dreamgirls starring Beyonce Knowles, will be showing exclusively for 10 days at the Ziegfeld in Manhattan before it is released nationwide on Christmas day, and ticket prices are expected to be $25. Apparently, the father of adopted 13-month-old David Banda from Malawi (Yohane Banda) turned down financial aid from Madonna:

• On David’s father turning down financial aid: “When I met (Yohane), I said I would be happy to … to bring (David) back to your village and help you financially raise him. And he said no … I think he truly felt in his heart of hearts that – and who knows if he was telling me the truth – that he would have a better life with me. So, when he said no, that was my sign that it was my responsibility to look after him.”
• On doing things over again if she had to: “I mean, if you would have asked me a week ago when I was in…the depths of my depression, and just feeling so sad about the state of the world and how negative everybody was, I probably would have said no. But if you ask me today, I would say yes.”
• On raising David as a Christian, since that’s how he’s been raised: “I believe in Jesus and I study Kabbalah. So, I don’t see why he can’t too. The essence of the Kabbalah is the teachings of Jesus. You know, love your neighbor as yourself. If David decides he wants to be a Christian, then so be it. Studying Kabbalah doesn’t mean you can’t be a Christian or a Buddhist or a Muslim or a Jew or whatever.”
• On David’s personality: “He’s got a terrible temper. He’s very flirtatious. And he’s hysterically funny.”

• Ricky Martin defended Madonna’s adoption of a 1-year-old Malawian boy, calling her an “exemplary” mother, and said he, too, would like to adopt. Ricky said: “The love she gives her kids is a dream, and I know that her heart is big enough to adopt not just one child but to adopt 20.”
• Former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham called on the Bahamian government Wednesday to investigate whether Anna Nicole Smith has legal residency status in the country and said Anna “is not a fit and proper person to become a permanent resident of the Bahamas.” “Her general character and reputation don’t commend her for such status.” Ingraham added.
