Mandy Moore looks sultry and sexy as she covers the 2009 July/August issue of Women’s Health.

The 25-year-old opens up about her recent marriage to rocker Ryan Adams, her upcoming album, and her unexpected “good girl gone bad” behavior.

On marriage:: I didn’t know if marriage was something that was super important to me. I thought, maybe I don’t need that in my life. I didn’t take the decision (to get married) lightly. I ventured into it realistically. But life takes you places you wouldn’t have expected. I’m really content with what was in the cards for me.

On her unexpected tattoo on the arch of her foot: It’s a baby sperm!

On misperceptions of herself: I understand people have preconceived notions of who I am or what I do. But I do find it bizarre that people find it bizarre that I’ve grown up!

Mandy Moore gets very animated as she performs live at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Tuesday (May 26) to promote her latest album “Amanda Leigh.”

The 25-year-old is getting adjusted to married life with singer-songwriter Ryan Adams, all while traveling and promoting “Amanda Leigh.” “Marriage is such a mark of adulthood in my mind,” Mandy told People. “It still feels not entirely real. Things are wonderful, and there’s such a peaceful settledness about it. But sometimes I can’t wrap my head around it. It seems bizarre but really cool at the same time, like, ‘Wow – I did that!’ ”

“I’m enjoying life, but I was enjoying it before [marriage] too,” Mandy said.. “It’s not like, ‘Oh, my life is complete now.’ I just have this extra incredible bonus of my best friend in the whole world, getting to spend every day with him.”

Mandy Moore (in Diane Von Furstenberg) hosts the season opening of Tao Beach at The Venetian Hotel and Casino on Saturday (April 18) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 25-year-old was accompanied by Confessions of a Shopaholic actress Krysten Ritter (with music video director boyfriend Scott Culver).

When asked if music is something that she and her husband Ryan Adams bond over, Mandy told EW, “Well, yeah! That’s definitely a common interest between the two of us. There’s always music playing in the house, or being written. It’s nice to be able to share that with one another, and share new things that we discover and find. Usually it’s him introducing me to something. There’s a lot more metal being played in the house than ever before. It’s like, ‘No, no, that’s hair metal, that’s not black metal. And that’s more melodic Scandinavian metal.’ It’s hard to discern, but I’m starting to get there.”

Mandy Moore toughens up her good-girl image in this sexy new shoot for the May 2009 issue of Details Magazine, hitting stands April 21.

The 25-year-old newly married singer opens up about why her music couldn’t compare to Britney Spears, learning guitar from husband Ryan Adams, and defeating bacteria. Check it:

On not being on the same level as other pop stars: “I found myself in the company of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who had really quality music, much more so than mine was.”

On being obsessed with cleanliness: “I’m a germaphobe when I meet a lot of people or shake a lot of hands. I always have hand sanitizer and alcohol swabs so I can sort of go back and forth between the two.”

On her new album Amanda Leigh, a collection of acoustic rock: “The music is all a reflection of me now, not somebody else’s choices.”

Newlyweds Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams enjoy a romantic stroll through Runyon Canyon in the Hollywood Hills on Friday morning (April 3).

The couple, who celebrates their one-month anniversary next Friday, haven’t been on a honeymoon yet but Mandy is a-okay with that!

“We’ll have to talk about it,” she told E!. “I’m happy being home. Home is a honeymoon enough for me!”

Mandy Moore helps launch the prescription eyelash growing medicine, Latisse, in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 26).

The 24-year-old singer and actress attended the event which was co-sponsored by the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Moore will come out with another album on May 26 titled after her real name, Amanda Leigh. This comes after her recent secret wedding in Savannah, Georgia to Ryan Adams earlier in the month.

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams got married in Savannah, Georgia on Tuesday, JustJared.com confirms.

Mandy, 24, and Ryan, 34, have been on-and-off for the past year. Ryan is formerly of the alt-country band Whiskeytown.

Ms. Moore, who covers the latest issue of Marie Claire, says of her husband, “He’s a good egg. I’m in awe of him: his brain, his passion. He’s truly one of a kind.”

On waiting for the right acting role: . “It has to be right. I’ve had the opportunity to play the drug dealer who gets gang-raped, and I’m like, For what reason? Doing it just to do it? To just show people that I can be sexy or dark? I don’t want to do something just to make that point. It needs to happen organically, and I’m really confident it will. I’m a pretty patient person, and I’ll wait until we find the right stuff.”
