Marcia Cross teams up with Motts to help launch Feeding America’s Open Market Backpack program by providing nutritious meals to children at St. Aloysius School on Monday (March 9) in New York City.

Marcia Cross hits the red carpet at the 2009 SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild) held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 25) in Los Angeles.

Can’t stop staring!!! The 46-year-old looked positively stunning in an indigo strapless Carolina Herrera gown with fractal detail. Marcia finished off her look with Jimmy Choo “Clue” platform shoes and shiny clutch.

ABC’s Desperate Housewives is nominated for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series”.

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross (aka Bree Hodge) strolls out of a Los Angeles, Calif. hair salon on Tuesday night (January 20).

The 46-year-old titian beauty was low-key in dark wash jeans, a black shirt and dark framed shades as she stepped out of the salon. She showed off her signature luscious, long red locks and swung a set of keys–including a cute red giraffe–as she hurried back to the car.

Desperate Housewives actress Marcia Cross’s husband Tom Mahoney has been diagnosed with cancer, according to People.

While details are limited, Marcia’s rep has stated, “He is currently under treatment and is responding very well.”

Tom, 51, and Marcia, 46, were married on June 24, 2006. On Feb. 20, 2007, they gave birth to fraternal twin daughters, Eden and Savannah.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

The cast and crew on the set of Desperate Housewives” celebrate the series’ 100th episode entitled, “The Best Thing That Could Have Happened”, with cupcakes and a giant sinfully delicious apple tree cake.

TV Guide reports that at this event, Marc expressed his desire to extend DH to a total of nine seasons, versus his previously envisioned seven. (The series is currently in its fifth season.)

The Desperate Housewives stars pose together for the first time on a magazine cover since season 1… and naturally TV Guide was the way to go!

“The idea for the five-year jump on Desperate Housewives really came from the executive producers of Lost,” show creator and executive producer Marc Cherry. “I’m actually doing something unheard of in Hollywood. I’m giving credit where credit is due… We didn’t need to do this, we wanted to do this. It’s given us all a new lease on life. We’re treating the season premiere like a pilot, as if we’re meeting these women all over again.”

During the season finale last season, the show flashed ahead five years. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Especially the new man in Susan’s life, played by Gale Harold!
