Mariska Hargitay shares some special moments with her son August Hermann, 3, as they prepare to depart for NYC from LAX airport in Los Angeles on Monday (September 21).

“My son made me look really good when two people told me he said ‘Excuse me, would you be so kind…’,” the 45-year-old Law & Order: SVU star has told OK! “She said ‘What have you been teaching him?’ And I went ‘that.’ He’s very polite, and that makes me very proud. He’s Mr. Please and Thank You. That’s important to me.”

Tina Fey and fellow NBC star Mariska Hargitay get chummy on the red carpet at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday (September 20) in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old 30 Rock star donned Fred Leighton diamonds and a Gucci gown. The back of the gown features a green and crystal jeweled brooch. The look was completed with Gucci sasso sequined evening shoes. Tina and the cast of 30 Rock picked up an Emmy for Best Comedy Series.

The 45-year-old Law and Order: SVU star shined in a silver Carolina Herrera gown, paired with Fred Leighton jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Mariska Hargitay arrives at LAX airport in Los Angeles after a flight from NYC on Friday (September 18).

The 45-year-old Law & Order: SVU actress, her actor/writer husband Peter Hermann, and their adorable 3-year-old son August are in town for tomorrow’s Emmy Awards.

SVU premieres this Wednesday (September 23) @ 9PM ET/PT on NBC. Christine Lahti joins the long-running cop drama as an assistant district attorney. “There’s a new energy, a change … because it’s a very character that’s in the squad room,” Mariska has said. “She really shakes things up a bit.” More Here! »

Wentworth Miller and Mariska Hargitay laugh it up on the set of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, filming in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday (JUly 14).

Christopher Meloni was also on-hand for some of the same scenes.

Former Prison Break star Wentworth Miller shoots new scenes for his upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU with Mariska Hargitay in New York City’s Meatpacking District on Wednesday afternoon (July 7).

The 37-year-old actor will play Nate Kendal, an NYPD officer who saves a rape victim and interacts with Det. Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Olivia Benson (Hargitay).

The episode being filmed will be the upcoming season premiere, which airs @ 9PM ET/PT on Wednesday, September 23rd on NBC.

Mariska Hargitay (in Carolina Herrera) arrives at the 2009 Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala on Monday (May 18) at The Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.

At the dinner for the American Ballet Theater the 45-year-old actress revealed the reason for her collapsed lung. “I’ve been doing my own stunts on the show for 10 years. I fell wrong, basically. I collapsed my lung doing a stunt,” she told People.

After a visit to the hospital and some time to rest, Mariska is fully recovered. “I’m 100 percent. I’m back to my old self,” she said.
