Mariska Hargitay (in Carolina Herrera) arrives at the 2009 Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala on Monday (May 18) at The Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.

At the dinner for the American Ballet Theater the 45-year-old actress revealed the reason for her collapsed lung. “I’ve been doing my own stunts on the show for 10 years. I fell wrong, basically. I collapsed my lung doing a stunt,” she told People.

After a visit to the hospital and some time to rest, Mariska is fully recovered. “I’m 100 percent. I’m back to my old self,” she said.

Law & Order star Mariska Hargitay has suffered a partially collapsed lung, according to her rep on Monday.

The rep confirmed, “Mariska Hargitay has been sidelined with a pneumothorax (a partially collapsed lung) [but] will appear in all episodes for the rest of the season of Law & Order: SVU.”

According to TMZ, the injury was the result of a skiing accident in the Hamptons around New Year’s Eve.

Hargitay, 44, was nominated for a Golden Globe this year for best actress in a TV drama, but lost to Anna Paquin in True Blood.

The always gorgeous Mariska Hargitay works the blue carpet at the premiere of Paramount’s The Love Guru held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Wednesday in Hollywood.

The 44-year-old Law & Order: SVU star was accompanied by actor husband Peter Hermann.

If you’re wondering why Mariska was at the premiere, it’s because Love Guru lead Mike Myers uses the name “Mariska Hargitay” as a blessing/greeting in the movie. Robin Williams locks arms with the gorgeous Mariska Hargitay as they film scenes for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU) in New York City on Saturday.

In the NBC crime drama, Williams, 56, will play an engineer whose life has gone terribly wrong and who faces serious repercussions. The show filmed in Bryant Park and Grand Central–and it looks like they had some sort of pillow fight with feathers flying everywhere!

“We are thrilled that one of the most talented and versatile actors around will be starring in this powerful and complex special 200th episode,” executive producer Neal Baer said. “We can’t imagine anyone else doing this role.”

The SVU episode with Williams, titled “Authority,” is scheduled to air April 29.
