'We Are The World 25 For Haiti' Debuts TONIGHT!

The world premiere of the “We Are The World” reboot will air tonight (February 12) at 8:45/7:45c during the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics!

With more than 80 artists involved and a good reason to re-record the song, “We Are The World 25 For Haiti” will raise money and make grants for efficient Haiti relief and continual development of programs to benefit the nation in the future through the newly created We Are The World Foundation.

As soon as the song premieres on NBC, it’ll be available for download and on World25.org, iTunes and on YouTube. You can see the music video on all three sites.

Mary J. Blige - Grammys 2010 Red Carpet

Mary J. Blige arrives at the 2010 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (January 31) in Los Angeles.

On the red carpet, the 39-year-old singer wore a silk crepe fuschia gown with cut out detail and a black rubberized crocodile envelope clutch all by Gucci.

At the event, Mary sang a duet with tenor Andrea Bocelli to sing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” during a special fund-raising segment for Haiti relief. For the song, she wore a cobalt blue Roberto Cavalli strapless gown.

Guest judge Victoria Beckham told People she tried to find the best in everyone who auditioned.

“I believe in constructive criticism and I am a very positive person, so I always tried to find something good and helpful to focus on, be it someone’s singing, their looks or their overall style,” Vic said. “Having been a performer, I know how difficult it is to be that person standing there being judged. I didn’t want to trample on people’s dreams.”

American Idol starts up again this Tuesday (January 12) at 8/7c!

Mary J. Blige: People's Choice Awards 2010

Mary J. Blige hits the red carpet and arrives at the People’s Choice Awards 2010 held at the Nokia Theatre on Wednesday (January 6) in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old Grammy Award winning singer arrived with her music executive husband Martin Kendu Isaacs.

Mary also performed “I Am” at the awards show tonight. Other musical performances included Cobra Starship and Nicole Scherzinger.

FYI: Mary J wore Ferragamo platform shoes and aJudith Leiber clutch. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz white and brown diamond earrings and a multi-color diamond mesh bracelet.

Mary J. Blige: The Next Guest Judge On American Idol

Just Stand Up 2 Cancer - FIRST LOOK!

13 of the world’s most renowned female singers pose with song creators/producers LA Reid and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds at Fashion Rocks to sing “Just Stand Up!”, the worldwide charity single benefiting Stand Up 2 Cancer at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City on Friday.

Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, Fergie, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Nicole Scherzinger and Natasha Bedingfield are all decked out in their black Stand Up To Cancer t-shirts.

All three major TV networks, NBC, ABC and CBS will create a roadblock at 8pm EST on Friday to broadcast the event. Hosts include Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Sheryl Crow, Charles Barkley and Melissa Etheridge.

“For the first time we can envision the possibility of stopping cancer in its tracks,” the group said in its mission statement. “But just when science is on the verge of giving us the breakthroughs that can end cancer, the will and the funding to do so are disappearing from the national agenda and from our collective consciousness.”

Just Stand Up 2 Cancer -- FIRST LISTEN!

Check out the new all-star charity single “Just Stand Up” as recorded by 15 of the most well-known singers in anticipation of the Sept. 5 “Stand Up for Cancer” telethon.

The track, produced by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and L. A. Reid, starts off with solos by powerhouse singers Beyonce and Carrie Underwood. You’ll later hear Fergie, Leona Lewis and Mary J. Blige belt it out. Other vocalists include: Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, Rihanna, Melissa Etheridge, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara and LeeAnn Rimes.
