The Olsen Twins go the great white way at the Seventh on Sale dinner gala at NYC’s 69th Regiment Armory on Thursday. Ashley kept in classy in Calvin Klein Collection while Mary-Kate went leggy in Giambattista Valli.

Seventh on Sale is basically the world’s largest sample sale. Scores of fashion brands have donated thousands of items to be sold through December 7 on 7thonsale.ebay.com. 100% of the money raised goes to services and housing for those living with HIV and AIDS.

It looks like Mary-Kate opted to wear designer Giambattista Valli’s “The Victoria Shoe” as inspired by Victoria Beckham.

Mary-Kate Olsen attends a Calvin Klein party at the University of Westminster on Monday in London, England.

According to Fashion Week Daily, this was the cause for celebration: “Calvin Klein, Inc. collaborated with British artist and 2001 Turner Prize winner Martin Creed on a unique performance project at London’s newly created underground venue P3. As conceived by Creed, the event brought together all of Calvin Klein’s spring collections within his own installations and featured an orchestral element as the simultaneous centerpiece and backdrop of the event. The performance is inspired by Creed’s “Work 673″ and featured Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear, and Calvin Klein Swimwear.”

Mary-Kate Olsen attends English contemporary artist Antony Micallef’s debut Los Angeles show “Impure Idols” on Wednesday night in Los Angeles. The Olsen twin wore a chic quilted leather coat.

How did MK fare on her first episode on Showtime series Weeds? EW chimed in, saying, “Mary-Kate put forth a valiant effort to play it cool and dry, yet mostly came off as a bit stiff. I’m willing to let this slide because, honestly, I was transfixed hearing the expressionless, bag-lady-esque tabloid moppet actually speak. But I really didn’t need to see wee Michelle Tanner dry-humping a young man.”

Mary-Kate Olsen makes a guest appearance on Wednesday’s episode of Late Night with Conan O’Brien. The Olsen twin shared about her love for coffee, being constantly followed by paparazzi and pick-up lines guys have used on her.

The most memorable pick-up line MK recalled: “Can I make you tomato soup?” And she gladly accepted, saying, “I. LOVE. TOMATO. SOUP.”

On her love for running around naked: “I run around my house naked with heels all the time. It’s so funny. All my friends will tell you I love running around in kimonos and jewelry or naked with jewelry.”

On her look not being so mainstream: “I dress the way I feel instead of looking for what’s the new handbag.”

On men being her fashion inspirations, not her female peers: “Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp – men, they just dress the way they want, and they don’t think about Who Wore It Best.”

On the skewed representation of her and her twin sister in the tabloids: “They take photos of us going into our offices, and it’s ‘Mary-Kate and Ashley shopping again. But I’m going to work for eight hours, and we’re working so hard. … It just shows how people want to think of you. The only time people get photos of me is when I’m getting coffee, when I can’t sneak away from the camera.”

On being thankful she is a former child star: “I think it helped that I started in front of the camera, so it didn’t come as a shock. If I was a teenager and was thrown into the spotlight, I don’t know how I would react, to be honest.”

On accomplishing so much at such a young age: “I feel like I’ve lived 10 different lives already and I’m only 21. But I also feel like I’m entering a new chapter.”
