Here are some great photos of Matt Damon sporting a mustache while filming a scene for darkly comic thriller The Informant in Decatur, Illinois, on Sunday.
The film is about the U.S. government deciding to go after an agri-business giant with a price-fixing accusation, based on the evidence submitted by their star witness, vice president turned informant Mark Whitacre (Damon).
The Informant is being directed by Steven Soderbergh, whose film credits include Erin Brockovich, Traffic and the Ocean’s franchise. Joel McHale, host of E!’s The Soup, and Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap) also play FBI agents alongside Damon.

Later this year, Matt will star in Margaret, opposite Anna Paquin, who witnesses a bus accident and is caught up in the aftermath. She then questions whether or not it was intentional and begins brutalizing many people’s lives, including herself.

The 37-year-old Bourne Ultimatum posed for a pic with one of his photographer pals.
It was recently reported that Joel McHale, host of E!’s The Soup, and Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap) will play FBI agents alongside Damon in Steven Soderbergh’s darkly comic thriller The Informant.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is based on New York Times reporter Kurt Eichenwald’s 2000 best-selling book The Informant: A True Story, which is about a corporate giant brought to justice by one of its employees.

Paul Greengrass (Bourne Supremacy, Bourne Ultimatum) is at the helm again for Green Zone, an adaptation of Washington Post scribe Rajiv Chandrasekaran’s book about the chaotic attempts of the United States to bring down Iraq leader Saddam Hussein and set up a provisional government in his place. The film takes place in the Green Zone in Iraq.
