Matt Damon turns up for a press conference to promote the film The Good Shepherd during the 57th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) on Saturday in Berlin, Germany. Co-star Angelina Jolie did not attend.
Matt, 36, was instead accompanied by director Robert De Niro, 63, and actress Martina Gedeck, 45. He is staying at “Hotel de Rome” during his stay in Germany. More pictures after the jump!
Celebrities were out in full force last night at the 72nd Annual New York Film Critics Circle Awards Gala at Supper Club in New York City — Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Ryan Gosling (with sister Mandy Gosling), and Jennifer Hudson.
Marky Mark snagged the supporting actor honors for his role in Martin Scorsese’s The Departed while Meryl Streep picked up best supporting actress for The Devil Wears Prada. Forrest Whitaker took home the best actor award for his role in The Last King of Scotland, while Helen Mirren picked up best actress for The Queen.
Well, we might as well throw out the other crazy scene Matt Damon had to do for The Good Shepherd. Matt plays full-on drag, taking part in a student musical revue during his character’s schooling at Yale University. Good to know that Matt looks like one ugly lady. And believe me, the singing is as awful as he looks! Matt sings in his deafening falsetto, “I’m cold little buttercup, dear little buttercup, though I could never tell why. If you haven’t watched The Good Shepherd yet, you’ve been missing out on Matt Damon in the buff. During Matt’s character’s Skull and Bones initiation rite, we see him and other inductees being forced to mud wrestle each other while upperclassmen urinate on them from a balcony above. Then there’s the actual initiation, which requires Matt’s character and other new members to lie naked on an altar and confess their most shameful secrets. More nude Matt Damon after the jump!

Here are some sneak preview pictures from Star of adoption-minded Angelina Jolie from last month, in character as Marianne Pearl, with 4-day-old baby Harvesp Chiniwala at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, India. The scene was a re-creation of Mariane giving birth to her son, Adam, a few months after he husband, Daniel, was murdered by terrorists.
The other pictures include Brad Pitt visiting the famous Ganges River in the holy city of Varanasi, India, on Nov. 17. A tourist behind him and a priest to his right didnt’ know who he was, an eyewitness said, adding that pensive Brad sat in solitude for hours on the river bank.
Below is Angie at the hospital after the shoot with the baby’s father, Viraf Chiniwala, Angie in costume as Mariane Pearl, Chiniwala’s older fashion-designer daughter, Shazeen, and her fiance, Peshotan. Blushing Viraf said, “[Angelina] hugged me cordially!” He added that his daughter gave Angie an outfit she had designed — and Angelina has “promised to keep in touch!”
Premiere Magazine has a little preview of Ocean’s 13 as Matt Damon, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt head back to Vegas — A little let down by Ocean’s Twelve? You’re not alone. “We got away from the reality and that disappointed me,” Bernie Mac says. “But this one is what Ocean’s Twelve should have been.” The original eleven return to Vegas, and theri former enemy Terrry Benedict (Andy Garcia) having butted heads with badass mogul Willie Banks (Al Pacino), comes to them for help. The crew must engineer a nine-minute period during which every gambler will win at Banks’s casino, and the plan hinges on Banks’s right-hand lady. While Thirteen explains the demise of Danny’s relationship with his wife Tess, the leader of the pack still managed to get his hands on some booty. “George kept grabbing my ass [on the set],” Mac says. “There are two things that you dont’ do to a black man: one, talk about his mama; two, grab his ass. Please tell George that.”
Brad Pitt is rumored to be re-shooting scenes for Ocean’s Thirteen soon, hence his haircut after returning to LA after his trip out to NYC with Angelina Jolie and kids.
