Matt Damon is all smiles on the October 2009 cover of Esquire.
The 38-year-old actor allowed the mag to travel with him to India, where he entertained Indian schoolchildren by squatting down and singing to them. He sang, “This is the way we go to the toilet, go to the toilet, go the toilet, early in the morning…”
Matt was in India with the charity Water.org, which delivers water solutions to the world’s poor.
Matt’s new movie The Informant! opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, September 18.

The 38-year-old actor, who suited up in a custom made 3-piece Ferragamo tuxedo and lace-up shoes, packed up an extra 30 pounds for his role as an agricultural company’s vice president-turned-FBI informant.
“It was very, very easy to gain the weight,” Matt told reporters at the festival. “It was very, very fun, probably the funnest time I had working because I didn’t have to go to the gym after work and I just ate everything I could see.”

In the movie, the 38-year-old actor plays agribusiness firm executive Mark Whitacre, who labels himself Agent 0014, “because I’m twice as smart as James Bond.”
Variety has a review of Damon’s performance in the movie: “Damon is in very sharp form in his fifth film with Soderbergh. The thesp makes Mark brazen in his conviction that he’s always right and unremorseful about his fabrications, but never in a superior, hubristic manner; as is slowly revealed, he’s always been able to rationalize any alteration of reality that served his purposes, and even when faced with his own deviousness, he never doubts that, “I’m the good guy in all this.”

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana take a romantic boat ride together in Venice, Italy on Sunday (September 6).
The 38-year-old actor will soon be hitting the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival for The Informant!, directed by Steven Soderbergh. Matt plays Mark Whitacre, a crooked executive who exposes his agricultural firm’s price-fixing tactics.

Matt Damon is all smiles in a suit as he jumps into a waiting SUV in New York City on Monday afternoon (July 20). Last night, the 38-year-old actor and wife Luciana (pictured below) were spotted dining at Italian restaurant Da Silvano in Greenwich Village.
Entourage star Kevin Dillon spilled a few more details about upcoming celeb cameos on his hit HBO series. He tells E!, “One of my favorite basketball players, LeBron James. and Matt Damon came in and knocked it out of the park. They play a couple of guys who are doing some charity work, and they get Vince involved in charity stuff. Really that is hilarious. LeBron’s got a great sense of humor. He’s playing himself—and it’s tough sometimes when people play themselves, they’re like, ‘Well, I wouldn’t do that. I wouldn’t do that.’ You’ve got to kind of have that sense of humor. You’re not really playing yourself. He just came in and was great. Matt is a really, really good guy. That’s late in the season. That’s like 11 or 12, somewhere around there.” More Here! »
