ONEXONE Foundation Ambassador Matt Damon brings awareness to Africa’s water crisis, visiting a hand-dug well just outside Mekele, Ethiopia on Tuesday (April 20).

In his right hand, the 38-year-old actor holds a bottle of regular water, in his left is a bottle of dirty water local children in Mekele drink everyday.

Matt also made a trip to Rwanda, where he met President Paul Rigame and visited a Millennium Village, hospitals and clinics.

Matt Damon plays some serious rugby with kids on the set of his new film, Human Facto, on location in Guguletur in Cape Town, South Africa on Friday (March 13).

In the Clint Eastwood directed movie, Matt plays the role of Francois Pienaar, captain of the South African Springboks national rugby team. The movie, which also stars Morgan Freeman playing Nelson Mandela, spotlights the role of the 1995 Rugby Cup win in post apartheid South Africa.

It has also been confirmed that the 37 year old, Matt Damon, will be working on a fourth Bourne movie. He’ll be teaming up with director Paul Greengrass on an original script.

Matt Damon tells Parade that he doesn’t think the Academy necessarily gets it right when it comes down to honoring actors and films.

The 38-year-old actor shares, “I think that the best way to judge movies is, like, 10 years after they’re released. I think they should actually do the awards that way. I think they should have done the Academy Awards this year for movies from 1998. I think it’s better to look at a movie and then step back and look at it again. I don’t think - that the awards necessarily get it right. I think they get it wrong more often than they get it right.”

Matt Damon takes a break from filming and sports a Springbok tracksuit for his new movie Human Factor in Cape Town, South Africa. The movie, expected to hit theaters in December, looks at Nelson Mandela’s attempts to unify South Africa after apartheid, focusing on the Springboks’ 1995 Rugby World Cup triumph. The film also stars Morgan Freeman as Mandela, and is being directed by Clint Eastwood.

Earlier this week, the Bourne Identity star donned a helmet and hopped on a bicycle to take part in the annual Cape Argus Cycle Tour. Damon, 38, cycled along side his brother Kyle and Springbok hero Francois Pienaar during the March 8,2009 race. Proceeds of the race were donated to the Make a Difference (MAD) charity.

Emma Roberts stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last week and shared a picture of herself posing with Matt Damon. Why was she wearing a green wig?

The 15-year-old actress shared, “I love Matt Damon. I’ve always loved him. When I was really young, I saw him at the gas station and I rolled down the window [of my car] and I waved to him and told him something along the lives of ‘I love you’. I don’t really know. A couple days later, I saw him at my aunt Julia [Roberts]’s birthday party and I was like, ‘Hey, I saw you at the gas station the other day.’ And he was like ‘Uh, what are you doing here?’ But I was a little kid, so it was excusable.”

Emma continued, “I don’t know why I was wearing a green wig, honestly. I can’t tell you. My mom found it [the picture] last night. I asked her, ‘Why did I go to her birthday party with a green wig?’. I don’t know, I think I was just a very odd child.”

Matt Damon step out in hand-made Ferragamo Tramezza shoes while supporting the San Francisco launch of the ONEXONE children’s charity on Thursday held at The Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, Calf.

The 38-year-old actor vows he’ll teach his kids about the less fortunate. Matt told People: “It’s a hard thing to explain to a kid. And it is also unbelievable the way other kids are forced to live… The way you have to parent them is to show them the world… You can read about devastation every morning – it’s on the front page of the newspaper – but when you actually go there and see it, you realize this isn’t something you can turn the page on.”

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana arrive at their friend’s beachfront wedding on Sunday morning at the luxurious Gasparilla Island, Florida.

The Bourne actor, who turned 38 earlier this month, was all smiles and dressed to the nines for the special occasion.

His buddy, Marquis Jet founder Jesse Itzler, tied the knot with Sara Blakely, the creator of the slimming underwear phenomenon Spanx.

Damon paired his tuxedo with a pair flip-flops for the wedding, which was attended by over 300 guests.

After completing the Miami Triathalon on Sunday, Matt Damon has a celebratory dinner with family at a restaurant in Miami, Florida.

Accompanying the 38-year-old Bourne actor was wife Luciana and their two daughters, Isabella, 2, and newborn Gia, 7 weeks.

“‘My brother talked me into [running the marathon],” Matt told the Miami Herald.

Matt, who finished his 6.2-mile leg in 59 minutes and 54 seconds, ran in a team that included his stepfather Jay Jones and family friend Barry Hetherington.
