Mel Gibson takes his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva out on a dinner date while in Paris, France on Thursday (February 4).

The 54-year-old actor is in town to promote his new film The Edge of Darkness where he also attended a photocall at the Bristol Hotel on that day.

Last Friday, Mel had an interesting interview with Chicago WGN-TV’s Dean Richards. Mel blurted an unpleasant word under his breath to Dean after he was pressed about events that occurred over 3 years ago.

But while in France, looks like Mel’s taking things in stride. According to People, during France’s Canal+ Le Grand Journal show, a panelist asked “Did you come prepared with French curse words for French journalists?”

Mel joked, “Non!”

“I mean no,” he continued. “It usually comes out in English if I’m angry. I have a short fuse. I’m trying to work on it.” 15+ pictures inside…

Mel Gibson attends the Edge of Darkness premiere with his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva held at the Palafox Cinema in Madrid, Spain on Monday (February 1).

The 54-year-old actor spoke about the film and how it relates to our present day problems.

“The dark side of large companies is a particularly relevant theme now given what we’ve witnessed from large corporations and their participation in the economic crisis,” Mel told Reuters.

Based on a BBC series, Mel plays a homicide detective seeking revenge for the murder of his daughter.

Mel Gibson and girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva hold hands as they arrive at the premiere of Edge Of Darkness held at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday (January 26).

The 54-year-old actor stars as a homicide detective for the Boston Police Department who investigates the murder of his activist daughter, uncovering political conspiracies and cover-ups in the process. The film is an adaptation of the 1985 BBC television series, Edge of Darkness. It is set to be released on January 29 in the US.

Oksana, 39, gave birth to their daughter Lucia on October 30.

Mel Gibson and girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva are now the parents of a baby girl, Entertainment Tonight confirms.

Lucia Gibson was born in a Los Angeles hospital on Friday (October 30).

This is the eighth child for Mel, 53 - he has seven children from his marriage to ex-wife Robyn Gibson.

“I guess I’m Octo-Mel now,” Mel joked on Jay Leno’s show after announcing Oksana was expecting.

Mel Gibson and his girlfriend, musican Oksana Grigorieva, welcomed their first child together on Friday (October 30), according to several reports.

According to Radar, the baby, who was due in December, arrived a few weeks earlier than anticipated.

This is Mel’s 8th child. He and his estranged Robyn have one daughter, six sons, and two grandchildren. Meanwhile, Oksana has a son with her former boyfriend, James Bond actor Timothy Dalton.
