Heather Locklear makes her long-awaited return to Melrose Place and is seen walking around the set in Los Angeles on Tuesday (September 29).

The 48-year-old actress will reprise her role as the dramatic Amanda Woodward character. Despite mixed reviews for the new series, the cast is hoping that Heather’s return will inject some new (old?) energy into the show. Original series co-stars Laura Leighton, Josie Bissett, Daphne Zuniga and Thomas Calabro will all be making an appearance.

Co-stars Ashlee Simpson and Jenna Dewan arrive at the premiere party of their new show Melrose Place on Saturday (August 22) in Los Angeles. Later in the evening, Ashlee hit up Bardot lounge in Hollywood.

Also pictured: costars Katie Cassidy, Laura Leighton, Stephanie Jacobsen and Jessica Lucas.

Earlier today, Ashlee tweeted, “[My 9-month-old son] Bronx [is] talking away in the car. :) He is by far the greatest joy in life.”

Michael Rady is featured as one of “The Fall Guys — TV Men We Love” in the upcoming issue of Signature L.A. Direct, on stands August 31st.

Here’s what writer Susan Michals wrote about the 27-year-old actor: “Michael Rady has got a pair of the most piercing eyes in the business — they’re the kind you feel right down to your soul. You need that in a guy like Jonah Miller, Rady’s new character on the show Melrose Place. Rady got his first big break in the feature film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and went on to recurring roles on Swingtown and Greek. Yet it is Melrose Place that will catapult Rady to new heights.”

She continues, “As it turns out, the cast sounds pretty down to earth. ‘There’s no divas, no animosity… I think we’re all just old enough to realize this is great work.’ Doesn’t he want to experience the Hollywood dream? Not particularly. ‘I’m pretty much a normal, quiet dude. I surf, read and hangout.’ And man oh man, it shows.”

Jenna Dewan, aka Mrs. Channing Tatum, has booked a multi-episode arc on the upcoming Melrose Place reboot.

EW reports the 28-year-old Step Up star will be in at least two episode and play a “young movie studio exec who takes a liking to wannabe Tarantino, Jonah (Michael Rady).

Melrose Place will premiere on Tuesday, September 8 @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW (after 90210).

Executive producer Todd Slavkin tells AfterElton that Melrose Place has cast former Mutant X stud Victor Webster as Caleb Brewer, a non-stereotypical gay character.

The 36-year-old actor, who has make notable appearances on Sex and the City and Lincoln Heights, will appear in episode 2, which will air on Tuesday, September 15 on The CW. Caleb is a “very masculine guy, smokes cigars, likes the Los Angeles Lakers, collects sports memorabilia, drinks Scotch, likes guys and is not afraid to admit it.”

Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson take their 7-month-old son, Bronx Mowgli, to a vintage car show at Travis Barker’s shop ‘Famous Stars and Straps’ in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 20).

Over the weekend, I watched the pilot of CW’s new Melrose Place. In Ashlee’s opening scene, she screams like a banshee after finding a dead body floating in the pool of her apartment complex. Unfortunately, the rest of her time in the episode is not very memorable.

Producers squeezed in a lot of scenes into the pilot, so things seemed a bit choppy. The most enjoyable character to watch was Michael Rady, who plays cute and quirky aspiring filmmaker Jonah Miller. He makes his living as a videographer of weddings and bar mitzvahs for the rich and famous after moving to Los Angeles with his fiancee Riley Richmond (Jessica Lucas).

Melrose Place will air on Tuesdays @ 9PM ET/PT after 90210. Check out the preview below!

Ashlee Simpson has joined the cast of The CW’s revival of Melrose Place.

According to EW, the 24-year-old former 7th Heaven actress will play “small-town girl Violet, a character whose disarming naiveté masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within.”

Already on board for Melrose Place is Katie Cassidy as publicist Ella and Michael Rady as aspiring filmmaker Jonah.
