Mena Suvari attends USA Network’s “American Character: A Photographic Journey” launch event at NYC’s Stephan Weiss Studio on Thursday (March 12).

The 30-year-old actress posed with fashion designer Christian Siriano, who designed her dress and shoes. Mena’s the first person to wear either off the runway from his show at Fashion Week a few weeks ago.

Mena was recently cast in the romantic comedy You May Not Kiss the Bride, about an American pet photographer who gets mixed up with Croatian mobsters while on a honeymoon with one gangster’s daughter. The film also stars Dave Annable and Katharine McPhee.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Leighton Meester (in Nina Ricci) attend the Piaget Hosts The Limelight Paris-New York Collection event at The Loft and Garden at Rockefeller Center on Thursday in New York City.

Leighton, 22, has been filming for the upcoming season of Gossip Girl, most recently in Chinatown.

Coming off The Dark Knight blockbuster, Maggie, 30, can be seen later this year in Farlanders, opposite John Krasinksi (The Office).

Emmy Rossum, Liv Tyler, and Mena Suvari were also on hand for the event.

Mena Suvari rocks out her new blonde ‘do at a party for Andy Warhol on the anniversary of his 80th Birthday, with an exclusive preview of the original 1950’s prints Warhol designed for the Martini and Rossi Vermouth Ad Campaign, held at the New Museum on the Bowery in NYC on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old American Beauty actress first showed up with her shorter ‘do on the beach with a bikini earlier in the year.

Jennifer Love Hewitt works out her new ‘do at the Step Up Women’s Network 2008 Inspiration Awards luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday.

Step Up Women’s Network is a national non-profit organization focused on strengthening community resources for women and girls. They strive to “invest, involve and inspire” women and girls so they will benefit both personally and professionally.

Mena Suvari and Rachel Leigh Cook (pictured below) also attended the festivities.

Mena Suvari, the American Beauty, attends Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held at Smashbox Studios on Wednesday in Culver City, California.

Mena continues to work out her short blond hair, seen by many in a recent Vanity Fair Italy issue.

Last month Mena, 29, was in Uganda representing the African Medical & Research Foundation (AMREF) as their newly appointed Goodwill Ambassador.

“We’re excited to introduce Mena to our work on the ground and proud to have her join our efforts to highlight the extraordinary work that AMREF is doing to ensure that families and communities across the country have access to health and health care,” said Joshua Kyallo, Country Director, AMREF in Uganda.
