The hosts of The Today Show go all-out for Halloween - this year, they’re dressing as characters from Star Wars!

Hosts Meredith Vieira (Princess Leia), Matt Lauer (Luke Skywalker), Ann Curry (Darth Vader) and Al Roker (Hans Solo) got all dressed up for today’s episode and partied like it was 1977.

Joining them outside Studio 1A were Kathie Lee Gifford (C-3PO), Hoda Kotb (Yoda) and Natalie Morales (Queen Amidala).

Last year, the Today Show hosts dressed as characters from Mother Goose…upgrade!

Madonna made a surprise visit to The Today Show earlier this morning and addressed the Donald Trump-Rosie O’Donnell feud.

Not surprisingly, Madonna took Rosie’s side, over the Trump’s since the two have been good friends since they starred in 1992’s A League of Their Own.

Madonna told Today’s Meredith Vieira: “People are giving Rosie a hard time. I wish they’d stop, I don’t think it’s fair. I don’t know exactly the context of what she said. I have to hear it from the horse’s mouth. She’s a standup comic. All standup comics talk about provocative things in their monologues before shows.”

But the real reason Madonna dropped by The Today Show was to drum up support for her new film, the animated feature Arthur and the Invisibles. Although it’s receiving horrendous reviews, Madonna provides the voice of the beautiful Princess Selenia. The film opens in theaters tomorrow.
