Lindsay Lohan may not be featured in Living Lohan, the reality series that follows little sister Ali and mom Dina, but that hasn’t stopped her dad, Michael, from sharing his reactions.

Mr. Lohan will be blogging about each episode on OK! magazine’s website. Here’s an excerpt: “For now, let’s just say I’m still trying to figure out if this show is about managing Ali’s career and being a “real” mother, or reading tabloids. I’ve had a sneak peek at some future episodes and I will say that some of the people Dina surrounds the kids with still concerns me — again, I can address that when they appear on the show. I just hope Dina takes the high road — like a Lohan would — and rights these wrongs.”

Lindsay Lohan’s father, do-gooder Michael Lohan, serves hot meals to shelter-based homeless people at the 2007 Great Thanksgiving Banquet at the New York City Rescue Mission on Monday. Mr. Lohan also made a speech about helping to increase awareness about homelessness in America.

What a great father!

Lindsay’s dad is also planning to open a restaurant where his daughter “can be around people she can trust -where she can hang her hat and call her own.”

According to People, he is looking for a location in Los Angeles for the restaurant, for which he said Lindsay will be part-owner.

Ex-rehab-er Lindsay Lohan says a special goodbye to her father, Michael Lohan, and his yet-to-be-identified girlfriend in Sundance, Utah on Friday afternoon. Earlier in the day, Mr. Lohan and his special somebody stayed took Lindsay to have breakfast at the local diner, Jim’s Family Restaurant.

On Friday, it was reported that Lindsay checked out of rehab at the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center. “She’s finished the program,” one source told People. “Lindsay is done, but she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay.”

Mom Dina added: “I’m proud of her. She’s moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal.”

Dad Michael also added: “I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she’s going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own. Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best.”
