Hilary Duff and her hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie munch on lunch at Hugo’s Restaurant on Saturday afternoon (August 29) in Studio City, Calif.

Just a few days ago, the 21-year-old was seen kissing on-screen romance Penn Badgley on the set of Gossip Girl.

At yesterday’s USTA & Heineken kick-off for the 2009 US Open, Penn told JustJared.com what it was like to kiss Hilary. He said, “It’s such an unromantic experience! Not only is the crew surrounding us, but there’s a million f—in’ paparazzi. Literally every time we’d do it, we’d hear a machine gun shutter speed. It was very much a job.”

They must be very good actors because it looked pretty hot to me!

FYI: Penn wasn’t saying Hilary was a bad kisser, just that the whole experience of filming it wasn’t romantic.

Hilary Duff pops her head out of her trailer with big hair rollers atop her head before walking to the the New York City set of Gossip Girl on Wednesday afternoon (August 5).

The 21-year-old actress got a visit from her boyfriend, hockey player Mike Comrie, while shooting at the Ziegfeld Theater.

Hilary walked to the set with co-star Penn Badgley, who plays the on-screen love interest for Hil’s character.

FYI: Hil is drinking Kombucha probiotic health tea.

The 21-year-old will soon be heading to New York City to shoot her multi-episode arc for Gossip Girl as the love interest for Dan (Penn Badgley). Hilary’s episodes are scheduled to debut in this season’s fourth episode, slated to air on Monday, October 5th.

Hilary Duff and her boyfriend, hockey player Mike Comrie, take to the streets to raise money and awareness during the 2009 AIDS Walk New York in Central Park on Sunday afternoon (May 17) in New York City.

The couple joined an estimated 45,000 participants in the event, which benefited dozens of charities including Gay Men’s Health Crisis.

“In tough times, it’s even more important for people to get involved,” the Duffster has said. “Everyone should find a cause they believe in whether it is something in your local community or something as big a global issue as AIDS.”

Hilary Duff waves to photogs as she picks up groceries with boyfriend Mike Comrie at Vons Supermarket on Sunday afternoon (April 26) in Los Angeles. The couple picked up cases of bottled water, Coca-Cola, Bud Light, and Sprite Zero.

Mother’s Day is only two weeks away (May 10) and Hilary exclusively told me her plans!

“My mom’s birthday is two days after Mother’s Day and it’s not a surprise, so I can tell you,” the 21-year-old told JustJared.com at last week’s Tribeca Film Festival party. “We’re going to Napa! We’ve never been and I’m 21 now, so we get to do wine tasting and other fun things like that. I don’t know if it’ll be exactly on her birthday because of schedules, but we’ll do a trip like that.

When asked if her mom feels gypped that she gets two celebrations lumped together, Hilary told me, “Yeah, but she’s a mom. Moms are used to eating less and eating when food’s cold and doing mom stuff. I would feel gypped! When someone has their birthday close to Christmas, it sucks!”

I ran into Hilary Duff and her hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie at the Stoli-sponsored after-party for her new movie, Stay Cool, at Tenjune during New York City’s Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday night (April 23).

Before I had the chance to speak to Hilary, Mike walked up like a big bully and sternly told me, “NO GOSSIP SITES!” Of course he was kidding, laughed about it, and shook my hand afterward. Harharhar, real funny, Mike!

Hilary, 21, was incredibly sweet and told me about her TFF experience. “I wish I could say [I'm enjoying it but] it’s so short for me,” she shared. “I just came to the premiere and I have other stuff to do. I don’t get to hang out and watch a lot of movies but of course I enjoy this part of it (the partying). It’s just exciting to have another movie here — one of those memorable experiences.”

When asked if she keeps in touch with anyone from the Lizzie McGuire cast, Hil said sadly, “No, but not for any reason. I did talk to Adam [Lamberg], the guy who played Gordo (David Gordon), for a long time. And he went off to college at Berkeley and you know, we just lost touch.”

As for Twitter, Hilary did confirm she’s jumping on the bandwagon soon! “I didn’t start Twittering yet but my assistant set up an account for me,” she told JustJared.com. “But I’m really slow. You should see me on the Internet. I’m really bad on the Internet. If I have to find something or look something up, Mike has to be, ‘I’ll show you!’”
