Mike, on what he and Carrie have agreed on already: “It’s going to be a good size wedding with plenty of good food and an open bar, but nothing too overblown!”

Carrie, on her dream dress: “I want it to be pretty traditional. I think I want flowers on it — not real flowers. [The designer will] probably be someone I’ve worked with before.”

Carrie, on whether they’ve set a date: “Not officially; we’re kind of bouncing a few around.”

Carrie, who wore Jenny Packham again paired with Jimmy Choo “Mercury” platform sandals, performed a duet called “When Somebody Loves You” with crooner Harry Connick Jr. She also performed her hit song “Cowboy Casanova”.

Ms. Underwood is also expected to sing the national anthem in Miami at next Sunday’s Superbowl game.

Carrie Underwood and her fiance, Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher, hit the red carpet together for the first time Monday night!

The 26-year-old singer and her sweetheart attended the Sens’ Soiree fundraiser in Gatineau, Quebec on January 25 and helped raise money for four local hospital foundations.

Carrie and Mike served as celeb dealers at a blackjack table for a bit and mingled with guests and fellow Senators.

“They’re totally adorable and so down-to-earth,” a partygoer told the Ottawa Citizen.

A spokesperson from the Diamond Information Center says the 26 year-old country crooner’s ring is estimated to be a five-plus carat brilliant round diamond with diamond sidestones, worth over $150,000.

“I love you so much!” Carrie has told Mike in the liner notes of her latest album, Play On.

Carrie Underwood is engaged to Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher.

“It’s true,” Mike confirmed as his Ottawa Senators team prepared for tonight’s game against the Boston Bruins at Scoriabank Place. “We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”

Carrie’s rep also confirmed the happy news to JustJared.com: “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier. No wedding date has been set at this time.”

Mike, 29, and Carrie, 26, have been dating for over a year now. They met in October 2008 during a concert in Toronto after being introduced by mutual friends.

Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher may be singing Carrie Underwood’s praises, but Mike may not want to actually sing to the four-time Grammy winner.

“I like to sing,” Mike told The Sens Show (an online news show for his hockey team, the Ottawa Senators). “[But] when I try to sing some of her songs, she just laughs!”

Carrie, 26, and Mike, 29, met last October at a concert in Toronto after being introduced by mutual friends.

As for what Carrie likes in a romantic date, she told The Boot, “I love sporting events and popcorn and pizza and being outside, like at a baseball or football game. I love amusement parks, going to ride roller coasters.

“I also love - not all the time, but occasionally - getting really dressed up and going on a proper date, where he picks you up and you’re wearing a nice dress and you both smell real nice, and you made a big effort to get looking pretty for this person.”
