Miranda Kerr poses for the 2009 HUG Award Gala fundraiser honoring Victoria Secret at the Pierre Hotel on Wednesday (November 4) in New York City.

The 26-year-old supermodel was there as the Intimate Apparel Square Club (IASC) awarded Victoria’s Secret as the 2009 HUG Award recipient. Founded in 1955, the IASC is a New York-based nonprofit group of lingerie industry professionals dedicated to raising funds for charities; its continuing mission is uniting professionals in intimate apparel and related industries as a charitable organization to “Help Those Who Cannot Help Themselves.”

Miranda will join the other Victoria Secret angels for a live fashion show in New York City on November 19.

Miranda Kerr is pretty in purple at a photo shoot for Victoria’s Secret on the beach of St. Barts on Monday (October 26).

The 26-year-old Australian model, whose weight recently became the subject of controversy after she appeared super-thin in a photo shoot, cleared up the rumors of an eating disorder.

“The exaggerated poses for the shoot have made me appear thinner than normal from behind,” Miranda told Grazia Magazine, “but I am the same weight and measurements I have maintained for more than three years.”

“I really don’t want girls to think they have to look like me,” she continued. “I want them to nurture themselves and really be the best they can be.”

Designer Alex Perry created Miranda’s beige silk dress specifically for her. “It fits like a glove,” Miranda told The Daily Telegraph.

Miranda Kerr dons a corset and then a bikini during a photo shoot on the roof of the Museum of Contemporary Art for Grazia Magazine in Sydney, Australia on Thursday (October 15).

The 26-year-old Victoria’s Secret model recently modeled for Balenciaga, known for their edgy models.

After seeing her on the Balenciaga runway, Grazia’s beauty director Annabel Jones thinks Miranda is changing fashion.

“Miranda knows how to put great looks together,” said Annabel. “She’s becoming something of a fashion force on her own. She’s quite cool and glossy, but still cute and accessible. Maybe what we’re seeing is a new type of runway model.”

Miranda is expected to spend some down time on Virgin boss Richard Branson’s luxurious Necker Island resort in the Caribbean.

She’ll then jet back to Australia on Saturday to launch her own organic skincare line Kora and to attend the Caulfield Cup Carnival in Melbourne.
