Gwyneth Paltrow is peach perfect in Donna Karan at the re-opening of the Mamounia hotel on Thursday (November 26) in Marrakech, Morocco.

The 37-year-old actress told People why she’s in town: “My mom is in Los Angeles, my brother is in New York, and I am in London, but it’s not a holiday there. My kids don’t get off from school, so I figured I would take off for a few days, and it’s wonderful to be here. It’s my first time in Morocco.”

Gwyn’s latest GOOP newsletter is about being accepted by your parents. She wrote, “I dedicate this Thanksgiving letter, on parental acceptance, to my father, who would have been 66 today. Orlando Bloom and his girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, attend the re-opening of the Mamounia hotel in Thursday (November 26) in the oasis gardens of Marrakech in southern Morocco.

Jennifer Aniston also attended the event (she met up with Orly at London’s Heathrow airport, pictured below).

“There is only three golden rules about a palace of this standing,” Jacques Garcia, the star French decorator who led restoration efforts, told USA Today of the $176 million makeover. “Elegance, elegance, and elegance.”

FYI: Neither celebrate Thanksgiving. Orly is British, Miranda is Aussie. Miranda is, however, wearing a tres chic Burberry dress.

Miranda Kerr hits the streets of Times Square to promote the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday (November 18).

The 26-year-old Aussie model, who was joined by fellow Angels Heidi Klum, who looked incredible after giving birth just five weeks ago, Marisa Miller and Alessandra Ambrosio, posed for photos with fans and got the word out about the fashion show, which will tape tomorrow night (November 19) and air December 1 on CBS at 10/9C!

The Black Eyed Peas will perform at the fashion show and although new mama Heidi won’t hit the runways, she’ll host the show!

Miranda Kerr poses for the 2009 HUG Award Gala fundraiser honoring Victoria Secret at the Pierre Hotel on Wednesday (November 4) in New York City.

The 26-year-old supermodel was there as the Intimate Apparel Square Club (IASC) awarded Victoria’s Secret as the 2009 HUG Award recipient. Founded in 1955, the IASC is a New York-based nonprofit group of lingerie industry professionals dedicated to raising funds for charities; its continuing mission is uniting professionals in intimate apparel and related industries as a charitable organization to “Help Those Who Cannot Help Themselves.”

Miranda will join the other Victoria Secret angels for a live fashion show in New York City on November 19.

Miranda Kerr is pretty in purple at a photo shoot for Victoria’s Secret on the beach of St. Barts on Monday (October 26).

The 26-year-old Australian model, whose weight recently became the subject of controversy after she appeared super-thin in a photo shoot, cleared up the rumors of an eating disorder.

“The exaggerated poses for the shoot have made me appear thinner than normal from behind,” Miranda told Grazia Magazine, “but I am the same weight and measurements I have maintained for more than three years.”

“I really don’t want girls to think they have to look like me,” she continued. “I want them to nurture themselves and really be the best they can be.”

Victoria’s Secret weapons Miranda Kerr and Ana Beatri Barros take a high fashion turn in issue #62 of V Magazine, out November 3rd.
