Papa Simpson Snaps Sexy Shot of Jessica

The Daily News features a photo of Madonna and newly adopted David Banda in Malawi. Sources tell London’s Daily Mail that the tot has a nursery filled with $25,000 worth of toys, including a child size BMW that he is not yet old enough to operate. The Mail also reports that Madonna plans to fly to California to complete the adoption- on the advice of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who have two adopted children.
Jake Gyllenhaal and ex Kirsten Dunst had a friendly chat at Capitale on Tuesday night. Dunst’s publicist says the two are “friends.”
Jennifer Aniston has purchased a $15 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion just three doors away from Friends co-star Courtney Cox. The home is still under construction but will reportedly include six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Jessica Simpson will guest star on a November episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, reports Life & Style. Jessica will be the musical guest on the show within-the-show.

Nicole & Mischa Eat Conversation

Trend-setting pals Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton have been spending lots of BFF quality time together lately. Earlier this month, Mischa was rumored to have said, “I think of Nicole as a good friend but she hasn’t been in touch recently. It’s quite fickle of her.”

Last week, Nicole, 25, and Mischa, 20, hit up the T-Mobile launch event at the Beverly Hills T-Mobile Sidekick 3 Boutique. And just yesterday, the pair was spotted leaving separately out of the kitchen door of Le Conversation restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif. Nicole and Mischa had lunch with a few friends and then drove off together in Nicole’s Mercedes G500. More pictures in the gallery!

Nicole Richie Loves Her Furry Friends

Nicole Richie hit up last night’s T-Mobile launch event at the Beverly Hills T-Mobile Sidekick 3 Boutique. This T-Mobile event celebrated the debut of two new limited edition T-Mobile Sidekicks by Diane Von Furstenberg and The Lifted Research Group. I spy Mischa Barton in the background!

Nicole, 25, wore a mustard mini-dress and a fringed fur vest last night. Miss Richie wore a similar fur piece to the Byron Williams New Product Line Launch of “Byron by Byron Williams” back on January 10, 2006. More pictures in the gallery!

Tara’s Transformation

Lindsay Lohan will reportedly soon move out of L.A.’s Chateau Marmont — where she’s been living for over a year — and into a $2.85 million pad in the Sierra towers. Apparently the Marmont pressured Lindsay to leave because her late-night partying was disruptive.
George Clooney tactfully shrugged off suggestions that he might run for office Monday, even though fans have started calling for the liberal-minded activist to run for President in 2008. Clooney was on hand for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s signing of legislation aimed at helping to stop violence in Darfur.
MTV’s Spankin’ New Music Week is allowing free downloads of exclusive tracks. JoJo performs on TRL tomorrow and Fergie on Friday!

Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Rosie O’Donnell are just some of the celebrities Stephen Baldwin says he prays for. Baldwin claims “the spirit of God has put [Cruise] in my heart,” and that he prays Pitt, who he says comes from Christian roots, “will do the right thing and marry [Angelina Jolie].” About O’Donnell, he hopes that she will one day experience the “true loving spirit of Jesus Christ.” Lastly, Baldwin said: “On the Hollywood list of people I pray for often, Tom Cruise is probably number one. I’d love to break bread with him and pray with him, and I’d love for the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the truth to him.”
Justin Timberlake will host the European MTV Video Music Awards on November 2 in the Danish capital of Copenhagen.
Bono shouted out a “Happy Birthday” to Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina, the other night at the Hudson Hotel where he celebrated the launch of T-shirts to benefit the One campaign. Lindsay, who a day earlier had a screaming match with Dina, skipped the event.
No murder or homicide was apparently involved in the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel. But he was on prescription anti-depression medication when he died Sept 10, pathologist Cyril Wecht said Monday. Wecht, who ordered drug and chemical analyses that could take weeks, said he learned about the prescription medication after the autopsy from Daniel’s psychiatrist in the United States. The depression apparently “had to do with a girlfriend,” he said.
