Former O.C. star Mischa Barton (in Matthew Williamson) paired some light blue shades with a blue dress as she looks a bit glum outside her hotel in London, England on Thursday (April 23).

The 23-year-old actress is in town to launching a new range of Ri2k designer handbags. Describing her style, she said, “I’m a huge vintage fan and then I like high street pieces and I like things that are affordable but fashionable, which is what I try to do with the bags. And then of course, nothing beats some of the best couture pieces!”

The 23-year-old London-born actress recently talked about her tastes in men, saying, “I tend to be attracted to slightly dark men, meaning they have huge lows, which I can too. This is not conducive to being happy and carefree… I have therefore set my mind to dating if I feel like it, but not getting into anything serious. It’s difficult to find the happy medium. I am dating in a general sense… nothing exclusive. I am enjoying myself!”

Mischa Barton just called out one of her posers on her blog and announced that she started her own official Twitter.

The 23-year-old writes, “For those of you who have been following MischaBarton on Twitter, I just wanted to let you know that that wasn’t me. I’m not exactly sure who was running that account — all I know is that I JUST joined Twitter this past Monday.

“My user name is THEREALMISCHA and I’ll be keeping all of you up to speed as often as I possibly can. I’m so busy right now and I’m still trying to get the hang of the whole Twitter idea, hopefully I’ll figure it all out soon enough :) So follow THEREALMISCHA on Twitter!!!!”

Mischa even addressed the fake Mischa on Twitter, saying, “@mischabarton I appreciate your keeping people updated with whats going on on ‘my’ life, but I think I’d like to do my own twittering now.”

At the event co-hosted by GQ, the 23-year-old actress joined Burberry-clad Liv Tyler (with GQ West Coast Editor Chris Huvane), Lipstick Jungle hunk Robert Buckley, British actor Alex Pettyfer, and indie rock band Cold War Kids, who gave a special live performance.

Mischa told People at the event that she joined the cast of a new CW show, A Beautiful Life, produced by Ashton Kutcher.

“Ashton developed it about his life growing up as a model (Sonia) from Iowa, so it’s about the whole fashion world that he was in, and obviously I have a lot of friends in the fashion world, so I’m used to being around a lot of people in that,” Mischa shared. “[I play] a bitchy model-type character, like it’s a totally different character for me.”

Mischa Barton takes a break from watching the catwalks for a bit of shopping around New York City on Monday (February 16).

Bundled up in a warm fur coat and sporting fun, bright-red lipstick, the 23-year-old former O.C. actress made stops at several shops, including the multi-floor home store mecca, ABC Carpet & Home, in Manhattan’s trendy Flatiron neighborhood.

Mischa Barton leaves Oscar Generale’s fashion showroom on Wednesday (February 11) in West Hollywood.

Earlier this week, Mischa, 23, took to her blog to shoot down rumors that she has been dating Tom Wright. She writes: “I’m sure you’ve all heard the rumors about the alleged “love triangle” between Luke Pritchard, Tom Wright and me, so I just wanted to take this opportunity to clear the air on this matter. There is not now, nor has there ever been a “feud” between the three of us; Tom is a close friend of mine and we hang out with a lot of the same people in London. If I’m dating anyone right now, it’s Luke.

“Luke is an amazing guy and we enjoy spending time together, but we’ve only been seeing each other for a few weeks and we’re taking it slow. I hope this clears things up for everyone.”

Mischa Barton works out an asymmetrical dress at the Fashion Dinner for Aids at the Pavillon d’Armenonville on Thursday (January 29) in Paris, France.

The former O.C. actress has gotten loads of attention this week for her lip-locking kiss with model Irina Lazareanu. On Monday, she was photographed having a good time at her birthday party, but then wrote on her blog that the kiss was purely platonic. Mischa went on to say, “As I’m sure most of you have already seen, I was photographed at my 23rd birthday party engaging in what most of the gossip blogs refer to as a ‘girl on girl kiss.’ Well I just wanted to take this moment to clear the air by saying that the kiss was purely platonic! We were joking around and it was taken out of context.”

Mischa Barton sits next to Kanye West at the Elie Saab fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2009 on Wednesday (January 28) in Paris, France.

The night before however, Mischa Barton was spotted with the Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard. MTV reports they couldn’t keep their lips off each other when they were at a London comedy club.

“They couldn’t keep their hands off each other they were snogging like teenagers,” said a witness. “They missed most of the comedians and were starting to annoy some of the other drinkers who were trying to listen to the acts on stage. They seem very into each other — there is certainly a lot of physical attraction.”
