Silver screen stars Matt Damon, Morgan Freeman and Clint Eastwood share the cover of this Sunday’s issue of Parade magazine to talk about their new film, Invictus.

“It’s fun working with young Matt,” Clint, 79, said. (Matt is 39!)

“He’s great and does a terrific job. I’d look at him often and think, ‘I wonder if I was that good when I was his age.’ Chances are I wasn’t. But it was fun to be vicarious and think, ‘Yes, that’s a role I might have done.’”

Hilary Swank shows some leg in a Calvin Klein Collection dress on the red carpet as the Museum of The Moving Image salutes Clint Eastwood at the Paris Theatre on Tuesday (December 1) in New York City.

The 35-year-old Million Dollar Baby posed with Clint and Morgan Freeman. The event also featured a screening of the new film, Invictus. Morgan co-stars with Matt Damon. Clint directed the film which opens across the country on December 11th.

In 1997, Morgan Freeman made an historic offer to the high school in his hometown of Charleston, Mississippi: He would foot the bill for the school’s senior prom—on condition that both black and white students be allowed to attend. Even though the students shared classes and every other aspect of school life, Charleston High had a tradition of holding two proms—one white, one black. Morgan’s offer was ignored.

In 2008, he made it again. This time, the school accepted and history was made, but not without significant opposition. Prom Night in Mississippi tells the highly entertaining and ultimately hopeful story of the fallout from Morgan’s offer, as senior students of Charleston High rally in preparation for the school’s first-ever integrated prom.

Morgan Freeman and his wife of 24-years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, are getting a divorce, reports Access Hollywood.

The news comes days after the 71-year-old Dark Knight actor was involved in a serious car crash.

“[The couple] are involved in a divorce action,” Morgan’s Mississippi-based attorney and business partner Bill Luckett revealed. “And for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007.”

Morgan Freeman is in “serious condition” after being involved in a car crash in Mississippi late Sunday night.

The 71-year-old Dark Knight actor’s car reportedly went off the road and flipped several times reports, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

“The doors were jammed on the vehicle from the rolling and flipping,” Mississippi Highway patrol sergeant Ben Williams said.”We had to break the doors open with the jaws of life to extract him.”

Morgan and an unidentified female passenger who was riding with him were airlifted from the accident scene to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. According to Freeman’s publicist, Morgan has suffered a broken shoulder and arm.

Angelina Jolie will star next alongside James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman in Wanted, reports Variety.

Wanted is an action film from Universal Pictures based on a graphic novel that Timur Bekmambetov will direct.

Angelina accepted the role after the script was rewritten by Dean Georgaris (Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) to tailor the character for her (script was originated by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas).

Angelina, 31, will play an assassin who trains a wanna killer (McAvoy) and will travel to Eastern Europe in May to begin shooting.

UPDATE :: Variety also reports that Brad Pitt will star in the Americanized version of the acclaimed British miniseries State of Play. Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland) will direct.
