Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, aka Mr. Gwyneth Paltrow, watches his two children, Apple, 3, and Moses, 2, as they ride on a mini-carousel at a London Zoo on Saturday.

Chris, 31, was accompanied by his brother, Al (striped shirt), and the kids’ nanny.

Coldplay has secured their first UK number one single with “Viva La Vida”, the title track from their new album. The single’s success is based solely on downloads from the internet because no hard copies have been sold yet.

Gwyneth Paltrow takes her son Moses, 2, to the Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth, in St John Wood in London on Thursday.

The 35-year-old actress arrived around 3:15pm local time and stayed for about one hour before heading out in her Prius. Let’s hope both both Gwyn and Moses are doing okay!

UK’s Telegraph is reporting that Ms. Paltrow has joined the cast of King Lear. She’s tipped to take the role of Regan, Lear’s treacherous middle daughter. Keira Knightley is rumored to will play Cordelia, the youngest daughter of the King, who will be portrayed by Sir Anthony Hopkins.

The $35 million film will feature epic battle sequences, announced its makers at the Cannes Film Festival. Lear’s eldest daughter, Goneril, has not been cast yet. More Here! »

Gwyneth Paltrow and a mystery male takes her kids Moses, 2, and Apple, 3, out for a boat ride over Mother’s Day weekend in Capri, Italy.

Moses and Apple’s father is “Violet Hill” singer Chris Martin of the English rock band Coldplay.

Gwyneth, 35, has been busy the last few days shooting the new ad campaign for Italian label “Tod’s”.

Moses Martin and big sister Apple head back to their London home with their nanny and grandmother on Tuesday.

Moses, 2, and Apple, 3, are the children of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

Gwyn, 35, has been busy promoting the heck out of her latest superhero flick, Iron Man, out May 2.

Gwyneth Paltrow leaves her hotel to go furniture shopping at two different stores with a male friend in New York City on Wednesday.

Gwyn, 35, also hit up the New York Design Center showroom on Lexington Avenue before heading to a downtown nursery to pick up her son Moses, who just turned 2 yesterday (Tuesday).

Ms. Paltrow also has a daughter, Apple, who turns 4 next month.

Gwyneth Paltrow takes a break from filming her new TV show on Wednesday and spends some quality time with daughter Apple, 3, and son Moses, 19 months, at a park in Barcelona, Spain.

Gwyn is currently on a foodie road trip with chef Mario Batali and New York Times food columnist Mark Bittman. The TV show they have been filming is titled Spain… On the Road Again.

Paltrow spent a good number of her teen years in Talavera de la Reina, Spain, so she learned a great deal of Spanish there as an exchange student.

In semi-related news, Lou Diamond Phillips was charged yesterday with one count of domestic battery as a result of a fight he had last month with the girlfriend he lives with. He was the one that carelessly blabbed about Gwyneth Paltrow being pregnant again.

Stella McCartney and Gwyneth Paltrow are reportedly trying play matchmaker with their single parents, Sir Paul McCartney and Blythe Danner.

The fashion designer and Oscar-winning actress, who are close friends, think McCartney, 64, and Danner, 63, would be perfect for each other because they are close in age and both lost spouses to cancer.

A source tells Britain’s Star magazine, “Gwyneth’s mom is much closer to Paul’s age than (his estranged wife Heather Mills) was, and Gwyn and Stella are practically best friends.

“They would love it if their parents hooked up — and believe me, they’ve talked about it.”
