Natalie Portman takes her new dog for a walk through the West Village on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old Star Wars actress has been named the most eco-friendly star, after topping a list of celebrities who go out of their way to care for the planet.

Other stars to be honored by the planet-friendly firm include Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt.

Natalie also won a special mention by campaigners at green website Grist.org - who praised her work to save gorillas in Rwanda, her role as the face of a low-energy lightbulb company and the launch of her vegan shoe range.

Ms. Portman will also be making a guest appearance in his upcoming music video, “Carmensita”, which was shot at his home in Los Angeles this past weekend.

The last guy Natalie has been romantically linked with is model Nathan Bogle. Nat and Nat were last seen together back in November.

My Blueberry Nights, Nat’s latest movie, is currently in limited release.

The movie poster for the Wong Kar Wai-directed flick My Blueberry Nights was just released on Cinematical and it features its women stars: Norah Jones, Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman.

The film is about a young woman named Elizabeth (Jones), who takes a soul-searching journey across America to resolve her questions about love while encountering a series of offbeat characters along the way.

My Blueberry Nights opens in limited released on Friday, April 4.

Natalie Portman munches on a cupcake while on a short break from filming New York, I Love You in NYC’s East Village on Friday (6th Street and 2nd Avenue).
