Co-stars Neil Patrick Harris, Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer introduce their new movie, Beastly, at the CBS Films ShoWest luncheon held at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas on Thursday afternoon (March 18).
Beastly, which is a modern re-telling of Beauty & the Beast, opens in theaters on July 30.

Neil Patrick Harris surprises many as he kicks off the Academy Awards with a song-and-dance musical opener for the 2010 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (March 7) in Hollywood.
The 36-year-old How I Met Your Mother actor, who hosted the Tonys and Emmys in the past, wore a black sequin three piece tuxedo, white shirt and bow tie by Dolce & Gabbana during the performance.
Earlier in the week, rumors were flying that Neil was going to perform at the Oscars. But those rumors were presumably squashed based on his Twitter.
“I will not be performing a duet with Martin Short to open the Oscars,” Neil tweeted. “Misinformation, I’m afraid.”
After his surprise performance, Neil got back on his Twitter and quipped “I told you I wasn’t doing a duet…”

The 36-year-old actor won’t be getting blue for the big screen, though - the film will mix live action and animation, according to Deadline.com, and Neil’s taken the part of the lead live action character.
Filming will begin in April during the How I Met Your Mother hiatus. Raja Gosnell (Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Never Been Kissed) is directing.

Neil Patrick Harris will bring seasons of love to Los Angeles this August as he directs the premiere of Rent at the Hollywood Bowl!
The 36-year-old actor will direct his first musical when Rent is staged as part of the Hollywood Bowl’s Weekend Spectacular and Sunday Sunset performances. The show will run from August 6-8 only, according to THR.
Neil is no stranger to Rent - he starred in the Los Angeles production back in 1997 and was awarded a Drama League Award for his performance!

The 40-year-old entertainer will be guest starring in an upcoming episode, and it sounds like the cast had a great time shooting with her! “Jennifer Lopez was really great - hot, cool and funny,” Neil tweeted. “And well prepared!”
Fellow HIMYM star Alyson Hannigan echoed Neil’s sentiments, tweeting “Jennifer Lopez is SO pretty! And funny!! And nice!!! It’s not fair.”

Jennifer Lopez will appear on Glee, says the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy.
The 40-year-old entertainer is having a role written for her, Ryan told Extra after the Golden Globes, but they’re hoping she’ll take on a less glamorous role than what she’s used to!
“We are writing a role for Ms. Jennifer Lopez, who we love,” Ryan said. “We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”
Glee took home the Golden Globe for best comedy or musical series over the weekend!
EW is also reporting that Neil Patrick Harris is likely to star in a May sweeps Glee episode that’s being directed by Joss Whedon (his Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog director).
