Yesterday, JustJared.com posted the first of its exclusive interview with The Final Destination star Nick Zano. Here’s part II of the 31-year-old former What I Like About You actor had to say:

JJ: Which movies or television shows are you into?

NZ: I’m a big comedy and action guy. I just recently saw Funny People and enjoyed the meshing of comedy and drama in a really really fantastically interwoven way that [director Judd] Apatow did.

JJ: Favorite action flick?

NZ: Definitely Tango & Cash, you cannot deny Kurt Russell.

JJ: Which TV shows do you follow?

NZ: Not too much. Outside of The Sopranos and Curbed Your Enthusiasm, not too much else. I’m curious to say how they play the Seinfeld reunion and pull it off or f— it up. Eastbound & Down (on HBO) also makes me excited.

JJ: What music do you follow?

NZ: I Pandora myself out! The day my iPod died is the day I found Pandora.

Former What I Like About You hunk Nick Zano plays the smartass in the upcoming horror flick The Final Destination, the fourth installment in the franchise and the first to be shot in HD 3-D.

Here’s what the 31-year-old boyfriend of Haylie Duff told JustJared.com in an exclusive interview:

JJ: Familar with JustJared.com?  Do you even read blogs?

NZ: Yes, actually. My family considers you an ally and Jenna Dewan loves reading your blog.

JJ: Why thank you. Can you tell us how you got into the acting biz?

NZ: I started acting at Wellington High School in West Palm Beach, Florida. My first real introduction was my TV production class. You know how you have morning announcements? Well we had that every Friday for ten minutes. One day, we decided we were going to be funny while saying all of the serious announcements. People started laughing and by the time I graduated high school we had fifteen minutes every Friday of just doing skits. That was my first introduction to an audience. There’s no one more honest than your fellow high school kids and we didn’t have much material back then.

JJ: What was your first big break?

NZ: It had to be MTV. I was a VJ and then became a news correspondent. Later on, I did a pilot for the WB. They offered me a “holding deal”. I did a pilot that didn’t get picked up and they were looking for a guy to reoccur for about five episodes on What I Like About You, and then that five turned into 13 and then the 13 became a series regular. That was pretty much the best thing that ever happened to me professionally as far as learning goes.

JJ: Do you still keep in touch with your castmates Amanda [Bynes] or Jennie [Garth]?

NZ: For sure! I also see Wesley Johnson on the regular, and I just had dinner with Leslie Grossman.

Haylie Duff and shirtless boyfriend Nick Zano talk their dog, a rescued Yorkie named Jack, for a walk through Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 27).

Fitness buff Nick Zano sports some very fashionable white slippers as he moves some boxes into his and girlfriend Haylie Duff’s new home in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Earlier last year, the 30-year-old was dating Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari, but broke up in December 2007. As of February 2008, Nick has been in a relationship with Hilary Duff’s older sister, Haylie.

Inseparable blonde beach bums Kristin Cavallari and Nick Zano flaunt their beach bodies at a Malibu beach house on Tuesday.

The couple soaked up the sun with their dog Rocco all afternoon. Between games of volleyball and soccer in the sand, Nick & Kristin kissed down by the water and relaxed on a giant beanbag on the beach.

The pretty pair ran into a mystery male and his son on the way home. Nick gave the little boy a double-handed high five.
