Katie Holmes is extending an olive branch to her husband’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman by sending her baby gifts, reports Star.

Katie, 29, shipped eight-months-pregnant Nicole, 41, a deluxe gift basket filled with onesies, stuffed toys, a baby blanket and more from Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.

“Katie wanted the best of everything in the basket,” the insider says. “It cost over $2,000.”

Nicole Kidman is featured in a 16-page photo spread in the July 2008 issue of Vogue. Photographer Annie Leibovitz traveled to the set of Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming action-adventure epic, Australia, to photograph the film’s star. Here’s what she had to say in her interview with Vogue:

On her knees splaying out at a 45-degree angle during the interview: “The whole experience is so primal… Just look at how I’m sitting here with my legs apart. This is the way you have to sit when you’re pregnant.”

On her country life: “I’ve been in Tennessee, just sitting. We have a farm there, and I have an organic vegetable garden. This is a path I’d not taken before. My mum’s always gardened. My sister gardens. And I’ve now conformed to the Kidman women’s hobby of gardening. And it is just a hobby. I’m not feeding the troops. (laughs) There’s a softness to the Tennessee landscape that I just love. It’s very beautiful out there. We have deer and wild turkeys.”

On how carrying a child is something new and overwhelming: “When I first saw the baby on the ultrasound, I started crying. I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime. I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely. I don’t believe in flittering around the edges of things. You’re either going to walk through life and experience it fully or you’re going to be a voyeur. And I’m not a voyeur.”

On her and husband Keith Ubran never being apart for more than five days at a time: “I’m so committed to this relationship, and so is he. I don’t have addiction problems, but love is a very powerful force in my life. It’s my fatal flaw and my virtue.”

Parents-to-be Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban head to the gym in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday to get their workout on.

It had been rumored that Nicole, 40, was doing a pregnant nude cover shoot with legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier, but actually, she will appear on the cover of the July issue of Vogue and is fully clothed. The photographer was reportedly Annie Leibovitz, the same photographer who photographed the controversial Miley Cyrus pictures in Vanity Fair.

“There is no nude cover,” a source told E!. “They’re just gorgeous Annie pics.”

Mom-to-be Nicole Kidman shows off her burgeoning belly as she grabs her morning coffee with country crooner husband Keith Urban at Starbucks in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday.

The Aussie power couple were later seen maintaining their healthy lifestyle, working out together at the gym. The 40-year-old expectant mom is due next month and is expected to grace the July cover of Vogue.

At the recent CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Keith didn’t know what a “onesie” was. He later sheepishly admitted that he’s slowly learning new baby terminology: “I’m learning a new vocabulary. We also got a tiny T-shirt that says ‘I crawl the line’ that we like a lot.”

Parents-to-be Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban display some PDA after Nic’s pregnancy check-up at the hospital Thursday morning in Nashville, Tennessee.

After chatting for a bit, Keith,climbed back into his car with three bodyguards as they headed off to the venue for his concert that evening.

Nic, 40, also took time to spend shopping with Keith’s parents (white and red shirt) on Saturday in Nashville.

The last set of pictures include Ms. Kidman talking on the phone as she heads to the spa after finishing her yoga class on Friday in Nashville as well.

The Aussie power couple expect their baby late next month.

Nicole Kidman and country superstar husband Keith Urban leave the Bryan Adams concert from West Hollywood’s The Roxy on Sunset Boulevard on Monday.

At Sunday’s Country Music Awards, host Reba McEntire joked about Nicole and Keith, saying, “Last but definitely not least, also nominated for Top Male Vocalist tonight is Keith Urban. And of course, we all know by now that Keith is going to be a dad. Congratulations. I don’t wanna go into all the details about how all that happened. But Nicole Kidman is definitely calling him Entertainer of the Year. Good luck, Keith!” Yuk, yuk!

Nicole Kidman (in YSL) comes out to support her main man, country superstar Keith Urban, at the 2008 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday in Las Vegas.

The LA Times reports that the Oscar-winning actress took a spin class two days in a row - Saturday and Sunday - at Body and Soul gym on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood.

“Nicole tends to keep her head down when she spins which isn’t advised because it’s bad posture that cuts off your airway and lessens your oxygen intake,” said one spinner. “But if she keeps coming to [spin] class, she’ll learn good posture on the bike, which keeps your core engaged and your diaphragm open.”
