Nicole Kidman dons a fun leopard-print coat while dining out with husband Keith Urban in London on Saturday (December 5).

The 42-year-old Aussie actress is in town to promote her new movie musical, Nine, out everywhere on Christmas Day.

Nicole tells CNN, “I had a family growing up loving musicals, loving show tunes, and standing around a piano and singing songs. In a weird way, this is what I was meant to do.”

Nicole Kidman attends the world premiere of the musical movie, Nine, at London’s Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday (December 3).

The 42-year-old Aussie actress was accompanied by a few of her co-stars including Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench and Daniel Day Lewis. (Fergie performed with the Black Eyed Peas yesterday at the Grammy Nominations concert.)

Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban arrive at London’s Heathrow airport on Thursday (December 3) for the UK premiere of Nine tonight!

The 42-year-old actress will premiere Nine to audiences across the pond this evening before the film premieres nationwide in the US on Christmas Day nationwide (lucky NY/LA viewers can see it December 18!)

Keith, who will continue his Escape Together World Tour in Australia on December 12, told People that his family will be spending Christmas in their home down under.

“We’ll be able to spend it with all of our extended family on Nic’s side and my side, so we’re really looking forward to that,” he said.

“My sister-in-law on Nic’s side has four children and my brother has two, so there’ll be lots of kids running around.”

Nine is a musical that follows the life of world famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he reaches a creative and personal crisis of epic proportion, while balancing the numerous women in his life including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), a young American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson) and his mother (Sophia Loren).

The film, directed by Rob Marshall, who also directed Chicago, stars Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and Fergie.

Kate said that she was inspired by her famous mom, Goldie Hawn, in the film.

“My mother was a big believer in if you want to do this in your life, you have to go for it,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “For her to watch her daughter [singing and dancing], the essence is we’re performers and that’s in our blood, and she gave a lot of that to me.”

Nine hits theaters in L.A. and NYC on December 18 and will be open nationwide on Christmas (December 25)!

The 30-year-old actress and Nicole Kidman introduced The Black Eyed Peas, who performed their hit song “Boom Boom Pow.”
