Nicole Richie and Aussie actress Sophie Monk have been joined at the hip as of late, going on double dates with their respective Madden twin boyfriends. Nicole, 25, is dating Joel, 27, and Sophie, 27, is dating Benji, 27. Earlier this weekend, Nicole and Joel were kissing and hugging each other outside of LAX airport while Sophie and Benji were doing likewise.

If you didn’t know: Joel Madden is Hilary Duff’s ex.

Is the rift growing between Mandy Moore and Nicole Richie?

It certainly seems that way when Mandy lays the smackdown in the March 2007 Spring Shopping issue of Seventeen Magazine.

The 22-year-old actor/songstress is dating Nicole Richie’s ex Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein and brings Nicole up in her yet-to-be-released Seventeen interview.

Mandy rips on Nicole’s body image saying, “I’m not Nicole Richie. I’m not like a toothpick, and I will never be.” Them fighting words! The March 2007 issue of Seventeen hits newsstands Feb. 13 — just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Mandy Moore and Diane Keaton’s romantic comedy Because I Said So hits theaters today.

I’s taken a while to come to grips with that since its’ definitely not the norm in my business. But, like, who cares? If anything, that makes someone more special — or at least that’s what I tell myself. [Laughs]

Celebrity Babylon caught pin-thin star Nicole Richie getting her hair did at a hair salon in WestWood, Calif while chowing down some pizza and reading the Globe tabloid. Wonder what the new do’s like…

Here are the latest scans of Nicole Richie in the January 2007 issue of Allure magazine. Here’s what the caption reads: Cutting It Close: When she was contemplating a short cut, Richie decided to do a test run that involved chiseling short layers around her face and at the crown — and a little cheating everywhere else. [Stylist] McMillian pinned up Richie’s hair and held it under hew new layers. Though she loved the way it looked, she wasn’t ready to take the plunge and let McMillian cut the hair. “I’m always open to trying something new, and I experiment a lot,” she says. “But it all depends on my mood.”

The Glendale Police Department released Nicole Richie’s mug shot, after arresting her earlier this morning for drunk driving. California Highway Patrol officers took the 5′1″, 85 lbs., 25-year-old daughter of pop singer Lionel Richie into custody after failing a field sobriety test. TMZ has more details as usual.
