Paris & Nicole Party Volkswgen Style

BFFs Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton (sporting not one of her best looks) hit up a Volkswagen party last night at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles. VW introduced its new Tiguan small SUV as a concept car. Not the prettiest looking thing on the market today.

Nicole Richie: “Rachel Zoe is a Raisin Face!”

BRILLIANT!! Nicole Richie fired back at her ex-stylist Rachel Zoe in a “blind item” she just posted on her MySpace blog titled “X-RAY”:

BLIND ITEM: What 35 year old raisin face whispers her order of 3 peices of asparagus for dinner at Chateau everynight, and hides her deathly disorder by pointing the finger at me, and used her last paycheck I wrote her to pay for a publisist instead of a nutritionist?

HINT: Her nickname is lettucecup…

HMMMMMM!!!!!!! WHO COULD IT BE???? Nicole’s blind item was in response to Rachel Zoe’s statement from yesterday:

There has been a lot of speculation as to the cause of my parting with client Nicole Richie. The tabloid reports have no merit. After trying to be a good friend to Nicole, we made a mutual decision to sever our working relationship. Changes are inevitable in any business relationship. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful life, I have been married for 10 years and have been a stylist for more than 15 years and am lucky to work with such a diverse group of women of all shapes and sizes that inspire me everyday. I have nothing but love for Nicole and wish her only health and happiness.

Nicole Richie introduced her father Lionel Richie to the stage during the 2006 American Musical Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Looks like that weight is finally is coming back slowly but surely! Lionel performed s ‘80s party anthem “All Night Long.”

Dancing with the Stars runner-up Mario Lopez is upset that he did not win the celebrity dance competition, calling himself the better dancer. “I figure if this was truly a dance competition they would have voted for the better dancer,” Mario told The Post.
Russell Simmons and Petra Nemcova are headed to Africa later this month to tour diamond mines. Russell plans to start the Diamond Empowerment Fund to teach Africans how to cut and polish diamonds themselves. Abbie Cornish was a no-show at a screening for her movie Candy. Organizers say it had nothing to do with rumors that she is cause of Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon’s split last week.

Paris & Nicole’s Confidential Party

On-off-on-again BFFs Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton were spotted at Lara Shriftman’s “Party Confidential” Book Launch this past Thursday night at a private residence in L.A. Check out more pictures in the gallery!

According to her publicist, Nicole “is working with a team of doctors and specialists whose focus is nutrition. She also has decided to undergo diagnostic treatment to determine why she’s not been putting on any weight. It is important to Nicole that she achieves this goal in a healthy way as this is not a treatment for an eating disorder.”

Nicole’s dad, Lionel Richie was the one who urged Nicole to seek help but said, “She’s gonna be fine. She’s worrying me to death, but she’s gonna be okay.”

Nicole says: “I’m not in rehab and I don’t have an eating disorder. I’m getting the help I need and taking care of my health.”
