Nicole Richie and Joel Madden grab lunch together in Studio City on Friday afternoon (January 2) and then head to Beverly Hills for a shopping spree at the Chanel boutique on Rodeo Drive.

The latest cover feature of Star claims Nic is preparing for a second pregnancy by taking vitamins, eating healthy and designing trendy maternity wear.

“Nicole simply told Joel that she wants another baby —right away,” a friend confides to the mag. “He was a little overwhelmed at first, but now he’s with her 100 percent. They’re both thrilled about adding to their family… Things are amazing between them. Nicole knows it’s because they’re both so happy with Harlow, and she truly believes another baby will double their commitment.”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden hold hands as they do a little post-Christmas shopping together at Christys’ Hats on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood on Friday.

The couple also hit up, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Decade Two, City of Angels Optical store (Nic picked up a new pair of shades) and American Rag Co. They ended the afternoon with lunch on La Brea Avenue.

Other pictures include Nicole working out an Azzedine Alaia LBD, Christian Dior shoes and a Louis Vuitton scarf at the Official Footwear Launch For K-DCMA at DCMA Flagship Store on December 13 in Los Angeles.

Nicole Richie is NOT working on an album, as was previously reported this past weekend.

The NY Daily News said that the 27-year-old mom enlisted the help of Rihanna and Kelly Osbourne to prepare the the release of her debut album. “Rihanna and Kelly are coaching Nicole and giving her tips on how to perform,” their source revealed.

FALSE!

Nicole’s rep tells JustJared.com, “While Nicole respects Rhianna and thinks she is immensely talented, she is not currently working on an album and hence, not currently working with Rihanna as has been recently reported.”

Too bad–we would have loved to hear Nicole take a stab at a music career!

Nicole Richie and her boyfriend Joel Madden take their daughter Harlow Madden to a children’s party at a friends house in Hollywood on Sunday.

Also attending the party were Jessica Alba, Cash Warren and their daughter Honor.

Joel and Benji Madden recently launched their new DCMA Collect shoes with a collaboration with K-Swiss and Finish Line. “Everything’s at a good price point where everybody can afford it,” Joel said. “Kids can actually afford the stuff and enjoy it.”

A fashionably dressed Nicole Richie arrives at a house in West Hollywood, carrying in her 10-month-old daughter Harlow for a playdate.

Singer pal Christina Aguilera recently got parenting tips from Nicole. Xtina told FOX, “I didn’t know much about Nicole, but because our little ones are born one day apart and through mutual friends I’ve had the opportunity of getting to know her and I was blown away with how great of a mom she is… I actually ask her for advice because she has a lot of great things that she does for her little one. She’s even a little more stricter with battery operated toys and what not, she’s a great woman.”

Nicole Richie gives bunny ears to her partner Joel Madden and his newly single twin brother Benji at the release party of Good Charlotte’s “Greatest Hits Remix” album at the Ecco Ultra Lounge on Saturday in Hollywood.

Also pictured: band members Paul Thomas, Dean Butterworth and Billy Martin. Specialty cocktails by Venom Energy were provided for the celebration.

“Greatest Remixes” features Good Charlotte’s greatest hits, remixed by some of today’s leading music artists including The Game, Bubba Sparxx, Joe Hahn, Metro Station & The White Tie Affair. The album will be available in stores nationwide TOMORROW, November 24th.

Nicole Richie (in vintage YSL) and UNICEF Ambassador Joel Madden host UNICEF’s 2008 Beverly Hills Snowflake Lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 22 at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The couple kicked off the holiday season with the illumination of the UNICEF Snowflake and the 20 Baccarat chandeliers that grace Rodeo Drive.

Nicole’s necklace is from her jewelry line House of Harlow 1960.

Nicole Richie joins a group of celebrities at the Alberta Ferretti Store flagship store opening on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old actress and boyfriend Joel Madden also attended H&M’s Divided Exclusive Collection Launch Party on Tuesday in West Hollywood.

The U.S. Fund for UNICEF announced that Joel Madden, UNICEF Ambassador, and Nicole Richie will host UNICEF’s 2008 Beverly Hills Snowflake Lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 22. Joel and Nicole recently formed the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation, a charity which provides funding to groups focused on improving pediatric health, education and human rights, both domestically and abroad.
