Nicole Scherzinger and The Pussycat Dolls continue to shoot a video for the group’s latest track, ‘When I Grow Up’ on a Hollywood street on Wednesday.

“This is a big deal for us. We just want to kill it. It’s all about the Dolls right now, and we’re coming strong,” said Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer. “We feel really good about this new album, we feel really good as a group, and we feel like this new album is really the next level for us. If you liked the first one, you’re going to love this one.”

Nicole, 29, is currently dating British Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton.

John Mayer eats at Dan Tanas in West Hollywood with some guy friends on Thursday.

Earlier this week, the 30-year-old musician who has previously been romantically linked to Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz, was seen with Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger, 29, at a Los Angeles nightclub Villa last week.

John’s 2008 summer tour will begin July 2 at Milwaukee’s Summerfest.

Also this summer, a new CD/DVD & Blu-Ray package will hit stores, featuring a December 2007 show at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.

On artists she admires: “I think Beyoncé is just amazing. She blows my mind. Gwen Stefani is one-of-a-kind. She’s the epitome of cool. Diana Ross—I wish I could be her. Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, all those people…”

On her ex-boyfriend Talon Torriero from MTV’s Laguna Beach: “I wasn’t looking to date anybody because I was halfway into the Pussycat Dolls thing. And we met and he wouldn’t let up. And he was persistent, and you know what, it worked.”

If she could date any celebrity: “I think one time I was like, ‘Matthew McConaughey is such a hottie and he’s a surfer.’ I used to kinda have a crush on him. Everybody loves that guy from The Notebook [Ryan Gosling]. Every girl watches and is like, ‘That’s gonna be me one day. It’s gonna be my guy.’”

On not being very Internet-savvy and her distaste for blogs: “I don’t know how to work an Internet. I don’t know how to get on my MySpace. But I don’t really read blogs. The couple that I do, they break my heart, so I don’t like them. But it’s okay because it keeps the eye of the tiger in me.”
