Oprah Winfrey was ranked the world’s most powerful celebrity for the second year running in a new survey published by Forbes magazine on Wednesday.

Tiger Woods retained the No. 2 spot on the list, raking in $115 million on and off the course, while actress Angelina Jolie jumped to the third spot, combining $14 million in earnings with unequaled levels of fame while Brad Pitt rounded out the top 10 earning a cool $20 million.

David Beckham’s move to the US Major League Soccer team the Los Angeles Galaxy helped him shift into the top 10, taking fifth place with earnings of 50 million dollars, ahead of actor Johnny Depp in sixth.

Other notable mentions: Jennifer Aniston - No. 17, Miley Cyrus - No. 35, Jonas Brothers - No. 89

Cinema sweetheart Drew Barrymore is more in love than ever!

The 33-year-old actress definitely wore her happiness on her sleeve on Monday’s Oprah Winfrey show. Her #1 fan, 29-year-old boyfriend Justin Long, sat in the front row of the audience.

After Drew sat down, Oprah noticed a special glow emanating from Drew and asked why she smelled so good.

Drew giggled, “We’ve been traveling a lot together–it’s been great. We used the hotel shampoo.” (Justin’s hair was wet, too.)

When Oprah asked Justin what he liked about Drew, he said, “She smells great. She’s beautiful and funny–the most compassionate person I’ve ever met.”

Drew couldn’t contain herself and added, “I’ve found a best friend. It’s the best. At some point, as you decide who you want to be and the person you want to become and you grow up, you make different choices and changes in your life. This relationship is great–it’s healthy and productive and supportive and full of humor. All of our friends get along great, which is awesome because we travel together in packs. We’re having an excellent time and we’re very fortunate.”

By the end of the show, Drew donated made a million-dollar donation.

The world’s richest woman in entertainment is about to get a whole lot richer–Oprah Winfrey is getting her own TV network!

Oprah is combining forces with Discovery Communications in a deal that would dissolve the Discovery Health network to create OWN — the Oprah Winfrey Network.

“The focus of the channel will be the focus of Oprah’s brand, which is to educate and inspire people to live the best life they can,” said David Zaslav, Discovery Communications chief.

Actress/comedian Roseanne Barr has made some wild accusations in her latest blog about talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Here’s a summary of what she said (with spelling and grammar fixed):

– Barack is an empty suit selling “hope” in lieu of Truth
– Oprah helped to elect Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their “fair share” of Cali tax.
– Oprah has given us Dr. Phil. If that was not offensive enough to decent thinking people, now she brings us Obama. He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope.
– Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too. You are a closeted republican and chose Barack because you do not like other women who actually stand for something to working American Women besides glamour, angels, Hollywood and dieting!
– It is historical that Oprah, beloved of women, chooses a flashy man with small credentials over a seasoned woman politician with 35 years of experience…and sells that to the female demographic who look to her for inspiration!

Disney star Miley Cyrus of Hannah Montana fame talks dating on today’s The Oprah Winfrey Show. Here’s a sneak peek at what she and her country star dad, Billy Ray, said:

Miley: I am, but my dad is, like, weird and the other day I had one of my guy friends over — (laughter) — and he was — he was hiding in the kitchen. (indicating/laughter) He’s standing there with his German Shepherd watching us (laughter) and I’m, like, dad, you’re gonna scare him. I’m not going to have anymore friends.

The first video of Oprah’s welcome message is there but it’s completely retarded because embedding is disabled. You can’t create viral video if you can’t share it!

On Tuesday’s show, Oprah will interview YouTube founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen. Also on the show will be 19-year-old YouTube sensation Esmee Denters, the first artist Justin Timberlake signed to his new record label Tennman Records.

Mommy-to-be Halle Berry shows off her baby bump on Tuesday’s episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

On trying to have a baby with model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry for some time: “I’m sort of superstitious, so I saved all of the negative tests in a drawer. Don’t ask! I don’t know why, but I did. … After about 35 tests, we finally got a positive test.”

On when Halle passed the pregnant test: “While I was trying to get pregnant, we tried really hard, so it was a lot of staying home and just doing what you do. … I was watching a lot of [daytime] television and—don’t judge me for this—Maury Povich. … It was about, ‘You are the father. You’re not the father.’ … So what the women do when they find out he’s not the daddy, they run off the stage, right? They run to the back. I don’t know why, but they run to the back. So when we got the positive test—Gabriel was downstairs in the den—I ran upstairs! I got up there, and I thought, ‘I’ve been watching too much Maury!”

On the fashion shoot for a Versace ad where Halle met Gabriel, who is 10 years her junior: “There were, like, just pheromones flying off the walls.”

On Gabriel having so much integrity: “He does what he says he’s going to do. He’s very honest. I’ve learned to really appreciate honesty, even when you’re saying what I don’t want to hear, because it’s the truth. I think I used to like hearing what I wanted to hear, and not necessarily the truth. He’s always his authentic self, never worried about being judged. He doesn’t care what anybody thinks of who he is. To walk with that kind of confidence, … and with integrity, I know he has ability to love me, love our children, and he will do that.”

On having publicly said she she had no interest in ever walking down the aisle again after her second marriage ended in divorce: “What Gabriel and I have decided is we will just redefine marriage for ourselves. You know, that paper isn’t worth anything to me anymore. … I don’t want to do that again, so we have spent a lot of time talking about how can we redefine this. There’s all kinds of ways to commit to one another that doesn’t have to involve the government. I feel more married in a way than I ever have in two marriages before.”

On Gabriel being her spiritual partner: “We view life the same way. He really understands the spiritual connection is so much more important than the paper and the pomp and the circumstance and the ceremony. And that feels important to us.”

Also on today’s show: Halle’s co-star in Things We Lost in the Fire, Benicio Del Toro. Halle plays Audrey, a mother of two trying to cope with the sudden loss of her husband. Benicio plays Jerry, her dead husband’s oldest friend—a heroin addict she’s always detested for his weakness. Together, the widow and troubled junkie struggle to heal.
