Owen Wilson is a Soccer Star

A barefoot Owen Wilson spends some time at a New York City park kicking around a soccer ball on Wednesday.

Just the night before, Owen, 38, dined out with the same blonde he was seen with earlier this week. Despite the cold weather, Owen and his date opted to trek through the city on bikes rather than ride in cabs.

30+ pictures inside of Owen playing soccer and biking with his special female friend… More Here! »

Owen Wilson’s MySpace Interview

Owen Wilson gives his first interview since his suicide attempt in August.

The 38-year-old actor sat down with his Darjeeling Limited director Wes Anderson for MySpace’s Artist on Artist series.

The pair did a little “movie magic” with this interview as Wes was in NY and Owen was in Culver City, Calif. Looks pretty real, eh?

Owen Wilson: Say a Little Prayer For Me

Owen Wilson sat down with Men’s Vogue this past June (before his drug-related suicide attempt). The writer recalls his stroll with Owen in the East Village and a stray comment that Owen made.

Passing a looming church, Owen asked if it was Catholic. Joking, the writer said “You want to go to confession?”

Owen said, not joking, “Well, maybe a little prayer.”

Owen and director pal Wes Anderson (pictured) have also teamed up in their most ambitious collaboration yet, The Darjeeling Limited, which follows three estranged brothers taking a train ride through India after the death of their father.

Owen stars alongside Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman. The Darjeeling Limited opens in limited theaters on Sept. 29.

Owen Wilson Celebrates Labor Day

Owen Wilson leaves home with his Australian cattle dog Garcia and goes to his younger brother Luke’s house for Labor Day dinner on Monday.

The 38-year-old funny man was released this past weekend after a week-long stay at Cedars Sinai hospital following an alleged drug-related suicide attempt.

Earlier in the week, Owen’s older brother, Andrew, talked to the police right before Owen left his home in Santa Monica. Owen was driven by someone and escorted by the same officer to avoid being followed by paparazzi.

Owen had been expected to join Adrien Brody and the rest of The Darjeeling Limited cast for its world premiere at the annual Venice Film Festival on Monday.

“We all miss having him here very much right now,” said director Wes Anderson, who has worked with Owen on several films. “Obviously he’s been through quite a lot this week, but I can tell you that’s he doing very well and making us laugh. When he’s ready he’s going to speak for himself much better than any of us could. He’s got a very good way with words.”

Get well soon, Owen!

Natalie Portman Rides the Darjeeling Limited

Effortlessly elegant even in a bright yellow bathrobe, Natalie Portman stands with Jason Schwartzman on a balcony in this scene from Hotel Chevalier, Wes Anderson’s 12-minute short “prequel” that will play right before his feature film, The Darjeeling Limited (in which Portman also makes a brief appearance).

Written by Anderson, Roman Coppola and Jason Schwartzman, (and featuring Schwartzman, Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, The Darjeeling Limited follows three estranged brothers taking a train ride through India after the death of their father. The film is on schedule to hit theaters September 29, despite star Owen Wilson’s recent difficulties.

Owen Wilson Takes People Cover

After the lovable star’s shocking suicide attempt, friends open up about the dark side of a funny man who had it all…

Owen Wilson naturally takes the front cover of People this week two days after being hospitalized for an attempted suicide. It’s a bit more of a dignified approach to Owen’s “addition, despair and secret pain” compared to Us Weekly’s salacious cover. The world needs both apparently!

Owen, 38, also just dropped out of the DreamWorks’ ensemble comedy Tropic Thunder, according to Variety.

Ben [Stiller] and Owen have made eight movies together,” a source close to the project said. “And he can’t wait to work with Owen again. It’s just not going to be on this film.” Stiller began shooting the film in Hawaii six weeks ago.

Tropic also stars Jack Black. Bigger Owen cover pic inside… More Here! »
