Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey, aka. Dr Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd, loses his shirt and let his pants hang low, filming shirtless scenes for his upcoming romantic comedy Made of Honor on Sunday in downtown Manhattan.

In the film, Dempsey, 41, plays a guy in love with an engaged woman whom he tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor.

Made of Honor is set for a nationwide May 2, 2008 release.

McDreamy wears women’s clothes!

TV’s hottest doc Patrick Dempsey trades in his scrubs for a wedding dress while shooting scenes in downtown Manhattan on Sunday for his forthcoming 2008 flick Made of Honor.

The Paul Weiland-directed romantic comedy was on location in the Meatpacking District, where Patrick squeezed into a long pink satin wedding dress for the day’s filming.

Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey, aka Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd, trades in his scrubs for spandex again for a bike ride through Santa Monica on Sunday.

Since wrapping Grey’s earlier this month, the 41-year-old TV doc has been busy filming romantic comedy Made of Honor with co-stars Michelle Monaghan and Kelly Carlson.

The Grey’s Anatomy season finale episode airs this Thursday, May 17 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.

Patrick Dempsey dons a tuxedo on the Hollywood set of his upcoming romantic comedy Made of Honor Monday morning

Co-stars Michelle Monaghan and Kelly Carlson were also on set to film scenes of a wedding reception.

It was reported earlier this week that Sydney Pollack, Kadeem Hardison and Beau Garrett joined the cast.

Made of Honor revolves around Tom (Dempsey) and Claire (Monaghan), who have been platonic friends for 10 years. He’s a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn’t found Mr. Right. Pollack will play the father of Tom.

Just as Tom is starting to think that he is relationship material after all, Claire gets engaged. When she asks Tom to be her “maid” of honor, he reluctantly agrees just so he can attempt to stop the wedding and woo her.
