Paperboy Josh Hartnett takes a stroll in New York City on Thursday sans rumored girlfriend Penelope Cruz.

Penelope was also spotted on Tuesday on the other side of the country in Beverly Hills “running the emotional gamut from happy to sad during an intense cell phone call.”

Josh, 28, and Penelope, 32, reportedly sneaked in a vacation together last week in the Caribbean at the private resort of Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos Islands.

“They’ve been spotted canoodling,” said one source.

This reported new romance follows after Josh’s break-up with the sexy Scarlett Johansson at the end of 2006 and Penelope’s supposed fling with Orlando Bloom.

The Post reports Anna Nicole will be buried with the ashes of her late husband, J. Howard Marshall. Lawyers for Anna Nicole’s mom, Vergie Arthur, say she will likely try to get the body out of the Bahamas.
• Elisabeth Hasselbeck was in tears following Wednesday’s taping of The View because of her heated on-air argument with Rosie O’Donnell.
