Natalie Portman and Pharrell arrive at The Late Show with David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Thursday.

Nat, 26, is reportedly starring in the next Mira Nair film entitled Kosher Vegetarian. Irrfan Khan will be cast along with Natalie in a love story between a Gujarati man and a Jewish girl.

Irrfan is very excited about the new project saying, “I’ve heard Natalie is my co-star in the film. I find the project immensely exciting because it is Mira’s film. Mira is a majestic multi-tasker. I love her spirit. It’s contagious. After The Namesake, I was sure we would do something special again.”

Kanye West walks hand-in-hand with fiance Alexis Phifer into his 30th birthday bash on Thursday at the Louis Vuitton Fifth Avenue store in New York City. The rapper superstar dressed in half-formal/half-casual attire — tux top and tie with jeans and sneakers!

On his way into the party, Kanye told People: “I’m in my 20s as we speak right now, but at midnight, I’ll be 30. I’m already 30 in Japan and London and everywhere else.”

Other celebrity guests included: Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Pharrell Wiliams, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson

Super producer Pharrell Williams, the wizard behind the beats of everybody from Ludacris to Britney, takes a break from the recording studio and strikes a sexy pose for a photo shoot on Wednesday in Miami, Florida.

FYI: Pharrell will join Kanye West, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Joss Stone and Bryan Ferry for a July 1 concert at Wembley Stadium to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. Diana’s sons, princes Harry and William, are holding the concert on what would have been their mother’s 46th birthday.

On Wednesday, TRL sampled Pharrell’s hot new song called “I.M.I.S.S. You” on Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger’s upcoming album Her Name is Nicole.

It’s the day of the 2006 Billboard Music Awards and FOX still has not announced a host for the awards show. WILL THERE EVEN BE ONE? The Billboards will go on as scheduled and air live tonight on FOX. Pictures include last night’s rehearsals from Janet Jackson, Ludacris, and Pharrell. (Janet’s wearing a black “Jackson Five” tee and “Triple Threat” sweatpants.)

Pharrell Williams describes his first solo album ‘In My Mind’ as "cultish and small" and it’s exactly that.  Highlighting a diverisifed man, the album is broken into two: 7 rap songs and 7 R&B songs.  "It’s for members only, like a secret handshake… we’re a genre of idealistic thinkers, and we’re growing," Pharrell says.  "We have our own purpose. And it’s called ‘art.’""  Catch Pharrell (or Skateboard P, as he calls his youthful alter ego throughout the album) performing tomorrow on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

A shirtless Prince William turned up the heat at a sweltering polo match yesterday afternoon at Cowdray Park Polo Clubin West Sussex.  The 24-year-old prince changed out of his sweaty polo into a dry t-shirt and munched on some Toblerone white chocolate.  Prince William was participating in The Audi Polo Challenge Cup and met with producer/singer Pharrell as well as shoe designer Jimmy Choo (pictured in the gallery).  More pictures in the gallery!

Two of today’s biggest producers have come together for one explosive track.  Kanye West has teamed up with Pharrell, for his new single “Number 1”. The music video was recently shot in Miami by Hype Williams. The highly anticipated, "In My Mind", is slated for a July 25th release date, and includes appearances by Gwen Stefani, Jay-Z,  and Daddy Yankee.  Thoughts?
