Angelina Jolie and William Hurt are pretty much the next two leads - with Hurt doing what Hurt does (all I can say) and Jolie proving once again that she is full of surprises. She’s flirty in this, cynical — and even naive which I don’t think is something we’ve seen in her arsenal before. Brentwood, CA :: Did Reese Witherspoon just drop out of the baby bump watch race?  Just yesterday, Reese, 30, was spotted walking around her hometown in a slim-cut sparkly tank-top, possibly dispelling all rumors that she’s pregnant with her third child. Angelina Jolie pulled her loved ones closer and took advantage of a break in the weather in Namibia. Angelina, Maddox and a friend took a walk on the beach near their resort on May 6 (three weeks before Shiloh was born).  Said an observer: "They looked like any normal happy family."  In the backdrop is the "Oyster Bar" that the whole Pitt family ate at the weekend before last. Send bigger and better InTouch and Star scans this way!  Yesterday, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt released a statement saying,  “We would like to deeply thank the staff of the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital for all their kindness and commitment in assuring the successful birth of our daughter.” The couple’s obstetrician Jason Rothbart, M.D., was assisted by the local staff of the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital. "Angelina underwent a scheduled cesarean due to breech presentation," Dr. Rothbart said. "The baby was a healthy 7 lbs. Brad was with Angelina in the operating room the entire time and cut the umbilical cord of his daughter. The surgery and birth went flawlessly. The staff, nurses and doctors I worked with at the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital were amazing, it was a team effort."

Britney Spears has yet another reason to be miffed at her hubby. Kevin Federline shelled out $300,000 for a wristwatch without telling his wife first, according to Us. Perhaps it’s no co-incidence that that’s the exact amount the aspiring rap star reportedly was paid to record an album and tour in Japan. “All he does is work on his music and try to find ways to get out,” a source told the mag. “That is all he cares about. It has taken a big toll on their marriage because he’s not always there for her and he used to be.”

What’s more, Spears suspects that K-Fed is responsible for some of the leaks to the tabloids about the couple’s private lives. “Britney knows Kevin tells his friends information, knowing they will leak it to tabloids,” a source close to Spears told Us. She has taken to not telling her hubby certain things — including that she was going to announce her pregnancy on David Letterman — for fear the info would be leaked to his buddies. “They sell stories for money. … She is sick of him using her for them to profit.”

More and more sources are turning up saying our girl from da Bronx is indeed knocked up. Though Jennifer Lopez’s people still are ducking it, music industry sources — plus a former J. Malibu, California :: Reese Witherspoon has been sporting maternity-style clothes for awhile now.  Yesterday, Reese, 30, walked along the sandy beaches yesterday afternoon wearing a very, very suspiciously roomy Lux Sleeveless Printed Frock from Urban Outfitters. Along for the walk was pet pooch Frank Sinatra and daughter Ava, 6.  Is Reese sporting another baby bump behind her floaty tops? Malibu, CA :: Pregnant singer Britney Spears, 24, walked with more spring in her step (since her breakdown) yesterday afternoon as she met with producer Jonathan "JR" Rotem at Starbucks. Britney and JR continued to collaborate on Britney’s upcoming album.  Britney wore red ribbon tie espadrilles (her shoe of choice this spring season it seems) and a stawberry-ish patterened summer dress.  More pictures in the gallery!

Brad Pitt was unable to make it this morning’s screening of his film Babel at the Cannes Film Festival. Babel is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and also stars Cate Blanchett and Gael Garcia Bernal. Brad, 42, sent his regards via email: "With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew introducing the film. I am tremendously proud of Babel and want to congratulate everyone involved for this great achievement." Brad’s family — pregnant (?) Angelina Jolie, 30, son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 4, and daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 1 — are still with him on vacation in Namibia.
