Congratulations to Jeffrey Sebelia for winning Season 3 of Project Runway! Jeffrey’s winning runway collection was inspired by Japanese demons and ghost stories.

• Mel Gibson speaks with Diane Sawyer about his “stupid rambling as a drunkard” on Good Morning America, which will air Thursday and Friday mornings. “The last thing I want to be is that kind of monster. What I need to do (is) to heal myself and to be assuring and allay the fears of others and to heal them if they had any heart wounds from something I may have said.”
• Evangeline Lily and Dominic Monaghan are planning to get married next summer in Hawaii, according to The Post.
• Katie Couric received her worst ratings last week, the fifth week of her evening news program. Couric remained in third place and she averaged only 7 million viewers, 1.5 million viewers less than Brian Williams‘ Nightly News.
• Jon Stewart shot down rumors that he’d make a run for the White House and said the T-shirts promoting him and Stephen Colbert “are a real sign of how sad people are” with the state of affairs in the country. “Nothing says ‘I am ashamed of you my government’ more than ‘Stewart/Colbert ‘08,’ Stewart told an audience Sunday at the New Yorker Festival.
• David Bowie has lent his voice to SpongeBob Squarepants. Bowie will play Lord Royal Highness in a SpongeBob special. Apparently his daughter is a huge fan of the show and they watch it together.
• Real World/Road Rules: The Duel premieres this Thursday @ 10PM on MTV. View trailer and Beth & Tina fight.

Rather interesting challenge this week… Project Runway designers had to create a look for an "everyday woman" but not for their regular models… for their mothers and sisters (not their own). Above are the designer match-ups!

I’m not crazy about wild prints but Uli’s designs keep impressing me week after week.  My Project Runway favorites are being picked off week after week.  First Keith, last week was Alison, and this week was Robert!  I just might have to root for Uli now…  More pictures in the gallery!

Oh crappity crap crap crap! Is Angela turning over a new leaf or what?  Since when did she learn to make such a nice dress?  It seems she learned a bit of restraint from her time with Laura and Michael from last week…

So this week, the Project Runway 2 designers modernize a fashion icon their models chose.  Here were the match-ups I mentioned last week: Angela & Audrey Hepburn, Michael & Pam Grier, Robert & Jackie O, Jeffrey & Madonna, Kayne & Marilyn Monroe, Uli & Diana Ross, Vincent & Twiggy, Alison & Farrah Fawcett, Laura & Katherine Hepburn, and Bradley & Cher. My favorites were Michael, Angela, and Laura’s but check out everyone’s designs in the gallery!

And since I’m rooting for Robert Best to win, I must say: STOP MAKING BORING DESIGNS.  [/end rant]  The preview for next week shows the designers wearing boots in New Jersey.  Could they be at a garbage dump?  Landfill? Possibly being forced to make use of new materials, like recyclables?

The Project Runway 2 designers this week had to create a three piece outfit for Macy’s private label sportswear line, I.N.C. International Concepts (the label the winner gets an internship with after the show). 

Somehow by the grace of God, Angela Keslar, with the help of Laura and Michael, knocked it out of this park this week and won this week’s challenge (her design is on the left). She even finagled her signature rosettes into her design!  But dang it!  Does Angela have immunity next week? AUGH.  Macy’s is selling her outfit for $257…

Keith Michael was, as predicted, kicked off the show for having pattern-making books stowed away under his bed.  He was a team leader and left Alison and Jeffrey to "make it work" without him.  His design on the right made it to the top two this week. More pictures in the gallery!

  Dear Lindsay: Since the commencement of principal photography of Georgia Rule, you have frequently failed to arrive on time to the set.  Today, you did not show for work (all day).  I am told you don’t plan to come to work tomorrow because you are "not feeling well."  You and your representitives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was "heat exhauston."  We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called "exhaustion."  We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior.

• Lance Bass‘ boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl speaks to Access Hollywood about their relationship and his book’s release:
  

  "I will say that Lance is happier than he has ever been. It has been a long ride and it’s a huge relief and I couldn’t be happier for him and I couldn’t be more proud of him… I say some things in my book that I’m not really proud of that I did, but I had to do these things for self-preservation. My book is about a personal journey between myself and other cadets at the Air Force Academy involving our coming to terms with our sexuality while at the same time realizing we had to protect ourselves from it… I have been thinking about writing this book for over ten years. Lance and I have a very new relationship here. Is Lance supportive of the book and excited about it, ‘yes.’ Did he prompt me to write it or prompt me to put it out, ‘no.’ Did I have a contract that the book was going to come out October 1 of this year before I even met Lance, ‘yes.’"

• Project Runway Spoilers :: OH DANG IT!  "Yeah, Keith gets bounced from the show, but it’s not because of his portfolio. It’s because he snuck some fashion books into his room when all the designers were told they couldn’t have any fashion books or magazines."  Thanks, Audrey!

The Project Runway 2 designers this week had to draw their inspiration from dogs this week. Each designer had to create an outfit for the owner of the dog and the dog itself.  Vera Wang and Ivanka Trump were guest judges this week.  Somebody explain to me why Angela Keslar is still around!!!!!!!!!????????  Scope out her fugly design this week.

For someone who’s only done menswear in the past, Keith Michael continues to knock it out of the ballpark week after week.  It’s too bad his attitude stunk (and stills stinks) this week and he didn’t make an outfit for his poor dog.  Throw the dog a freakin’ bone!!!!!!!!!!  More pictures in the gallery!
