Britney Spears has already recorded her a cameo for the Pussycat Dolls “When I Grow Up Music Video.

The Dolls filmed their dance sequences in Hollywood on Tuesday and Wednesday. Brit shot her scenes at the WB lot in Burbank on Wednesday.

“It was carefully planned out,” a set source told Us Weekly. “In the scene shot [Wednesday], Britney is driving in a car. They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic — that is it. It is genius and you will love it! Of course, Britney looks hot and blonde.”

Adds the source, “It is a very short sequence, but [Britney] had a lot of fun with it. [She] really likes the Dolls’ music and when she saw them on the MTV [Movie Awards], she was totally down to do the video.”

Nicole Scherzinger and The Pussycat Dolls continue to shoot a video for the group’s latest track, ‘When I Grow Up’ on a Hollywood street on Wednesday.

“This is a big deal for us. We just want to kill it. It’s all about the Dolls right now, and we’re coming strong,” said Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer. “We feel really good about this new album, we feel really good as a group, and we feel like this new album is really the next level for us. If you liked the first one, you’re going to love this one.”

Nicole, 29, is currently dating British Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton.

The Pussycat Dolls film their new “When I Grow Up” Music Video along Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood on Tuesday. Lots of writhing by lead doll Nicole Scherzinger and her pussycats Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt.

Gwen Stefani performed with the original Pussycat Dolls way back when (in 2000?).

The Hollaback Girl sang and pranced around in black lingerie and a headband in her performance of “Big Spender.” Gwen worked the stage in a black mini, captain’s hat and a boa in her rendition of “13 Men.”

• The Pussycat Dolls will search for a new member this winter.  The new CW network says it’s staging an eight-week search and the group, which is apparently down a member (lead singer Nicole Scherzinger went solo), will judge the contest.
