The 30-year-old Sherlock Holmes actress rocked fingerless gloves and carried a thermos with her as she made her way through the stylish neighborhood.

Rachel recently made Forbes‘ “Best Actresses for the Buck” list, sharing space in the top ten with powerhouses Naomi Watts, Jennifer Connelly and Natalie Portman. Rounding out the list were Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston and Meryl Streep. Rachel’s in good company with these ladies!

Last month, the 30-year-old Canadian actress attended the Altuzarra Spring 2010 show during NY Fashion Week. She sat next to Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester, who told JustJared.com that Rachel was “so beautiful in person! Very nice, too.”

Rachel next stars in the detective flick, Sherlock Holmes, out Christmas Day. The movie also stars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr.

Actress pals Leighton Meester and Rachel McAdams attends the Altuzarra Spring 2010 show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Milk Studios on Saturday (September 12) in New York City.

Leighton paired her stunning purple Emilio de la Morena dress with matching Proenza Schouler lace-up ankle boots.

Ms. Meester will be attending and presenting at tonight’s 2009 MTV VMAs (she’s nominated for her Cobra Starship collab “When Good Girls Go Bad”).

People tell you on a Friday that your life’s gonna change by Monday. But then comes Monday and you still don’t feel like you’ve got it.”

Rachel McAdams is purple-licious in a ruffled 3.1 Philip Lim dress during an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Thursday (August 13) in New York City’s Upper West Side.

The 30-year-old Canadian actress accessorized with Bochic earrings, LeVian bracelets and Brian Atwood pumps.

Her and Eric Bana’s new movie, The Time Traveler’s Wife, opens in theaters TODAY (August 14).

At Wednesday’s premiere, Rachel told People that she’s looking forward to becoming a mom. “Having a few [kids] would be great,” she said. “[I'm] looking forward to it someday.”
