A source close to the production of Sin City 2 is claiming that Angelina Jolie is out of the running and Rachel Weisz is in. Director Robert Rodriguez has always wanted Angelina to star in his sequel Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For but because of scheduling conflicts, it looks like Rachel might be taking on the role of Ava Lord. Rachel Weisz was all smiles as she finished off a day of shooting her new film in Chicago, Illin. Rachel, 35, was filming scenes for her upcoming comedy, Fred Claus, which is about Joe Claus, Santa’s bitter older brother, who is forced to move to the North Pole.

Fred Claus is directed by David Dobkin (Shanghai Knights, Wedding Crashers) and also stars Vince Vaughn, Kevin Spacey, Paul Giamatti and Ludacris. Opens nationwide on Nov. 9.

FINALLY! Geez, I’ve been waiting for over a year for this Burberry ad! They shot this ad campaign back in October 2005 with world-famous photographer Mario Testino and it’s December 2006 already! Nevertheless Rachel Weisz and Ioan Gruffudd naturally look flawless. They’re advertising “Burberry London,” a new romantic fragrance for men and women.

Looks like co-stars Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman had the time of their lives on the red carpet late last night at the Los Angeles premiere of their latest, the Darren Aronofsky-directed film, The Fountain. Opens nationwide on Nov. 22. Watch out for it!
